Unusual 19th century netsuke of a cloth Daruma doll with wonderful inquisitive face and a shaped opening on the back with anabori (cavern carving) of a palace with a procession of scholars crossing a bridge and pavilions in the back. The cavern is carved unusually deep, and pavilions in the back are very well defined, almost impossible to photograph properly. Excellent face with horn inlaid convex eyes, beautiful stippling defining the texture of its cloth body, wonderful functional shape...
Antique Chinese stone seal with long inscription. The seal has pigment from when it was used. The seal is an oblong shaped cylinder. It measures .5" wide 1" long 3" tall.
Satsuma ceramic plate adorned with polychrome and gold decorations within numerous reserves of unique shape and size, depicting scenes of Japanese daily life.
The plate is signed under the base 'Dai Nihon Yokohama Hotoda shōten seizō'.

Superb late Meiji Period C.1900 bronze lamp that used oil and wick. Absolutely spectacular bronze craftsmanship and detail from floral vine lattice on the door and side panels to the treasure symbols in fine relief around the base. H:49cm; diameter:30cm. 19th century lacquered boxwood netsuke of a recumbent goat, its head turned back and resting on its haunch. Excellent carving capturing the essence of the creature, wonderful depiction of its coat, eyes are inlaid with amber, excellent wear and patina.. Length 2.07 inches.

The bowl applied with a beautiful light blue-tinged white glaze with warm
and clear glaze evenly overall, set on a slightly flared high ring foot and with
slightly everted mouth rim, its base glazed in white glaze but a foot rim unglazed.

Chinese bamboo caving of Shoulao, the deity of longevity. He is sometimes referred to as the Old Man of the South Pole. His attributes include his large forehead, representing wisdom, and his long beard to show longevity. Shou Lao also holds a long staff and a peach branch to also symbolize a long and prosperous life. Shoulao is carved with a small boy riding a deer, who holds a magic box from which a bat flies out (an auspicious motif) and a crane.

This is a classical form Song dynasty small moulded longquan or celadon dish with appliqué twin fish in the centre and an everted flatten flatten mouth rim. The exterior is moulded with an overlapping upright lotus petal radiating from the foot. The dish is glazed with an uneven light green colour with glaze crazing.
There is no crack, repair or restoration...
Highly unusual sculpture of two natural ruyi mushrooms ‘growing’ from a piece of wood. At the foot of the mushrooms sits a small frog.

This old Japanese Noh theater mask has the expressive face of an old man. The mask is carved from paulownia wood and dates to middle Edo period, around 1750. The patina is wonderful.

Very Rare Chinese Northern Dynasties Painted Pottery Horse with Oxford TL Test
This extremely rare pottery model of a saddled horse was made during the Northern Dynasties period (AD 386 - 581). It is rather naively modelled from a dense grey pottery that is fairly high-fired. The body has been cold-painted in reddish-brown, black and white pigments whilst the upper surface of the base is painted white.

Charming rustic Japanese antique jizai hook for heating water over a fire, made of keyaki (elm) wood and carved in the shape of a fish, beautiful wood grain with a deep patina from years of use, an iron hook is attached to the tail, a rope or chain would have threaded through a vertical hole from head to mouth, Edo Period (early to mid 19th century).

A Very Fine Korean Blue and White Square Shape Water Dropper-19th C.:
Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century.
The rectangular slab-sided water dropper set on four raised feet, decorated in
underglaze blue and white with a Han River scene in two bird flying, the sides with
stylized floral design in square beneath a clear white glaze. Kiln grit on the base.
It’s in good condition with no chips in water spout or corner but has a short hair line cracks on the sides...
The small jade carving is 2” long, 1 ¼” wide and 1” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It depicts a smiling fisherman. On one hand, he is holding his long beard; in the other he is holding a string of Ling Zhi (lucky mushrooms). A turtle and a fish appear on the fisherman’s back carved from dark brown part of the stone. It is in excellent condition.
Unusual and Charming Deer torso mounted on a very nice custom Iron stand. Deer is from Thailand dating to the early both Century. Beautifully worn by the elements it is now in a stable condition and well mounted. Inlaid with original colorful hard stones.
