The small jade carving is 2” long, 1 ¼” wide and 1” thick. It is a late 19th century product. It depicts a smiling fisherman. On one hand, he is holding his long beard; in the other he is holding a string of Ling Zhi (lucky mushrooms). A turtle and a fish appear on the fisherman’s back carved from dark brown part of the stone. It is in excellent condition.

Chinese Pottery Tomb Lady Figure with partially glazed with amber to brownish robe, and hands tucked under the robe, 10 3/8" high, 2 3/4" wide, 2" deep, light brownish amber color drip glaze robe ran down to the bottom, with unglazed head and bottom feet area with some tiny old rounded chips to larger chip about 1/2" wide on the right upper arm area on the Brownish glaze.

Tall Chinese Western Han Dynasty Painted Pottery Soldier with Oxford TL Test (206 BC - AD 8)

This impressive pottery model of a warrior was made over 2,000 years ago during the Western Han Dynasty (206 BC - AD 8); as can be seen by the quiver on its back, this figure is that of an archer. It is made from a relatively high-fired dark grey pottery that has been "cold painted" in a base coat of white pigment with the features and details picked out in red and black pigments...

This is a classical form Song dynasty small moulded longquan or celadon dish with appliqué twin fish in the centre and an everted flatten flatten mouth rim. The exterior is moulded with an overlapping upright lotus petal radiating from the foot. The dish is glazed with an uneven light green colour with glaze crazing.

There is no crack, repair or restoration...

Japanese lidded porcelain choshi, sake server, blue and white glazed, handle is pierced with decorative holes, melon-shaped body, 18th/19th century, good condition with no cracks, chips or losses. 5 1/4" high x 7 1/8" long (to spout) x 5 1/8" wide.

A beautiful and rare excavated 17th Century Burmese Bronze Ganesh holding 4 objects in his hands and with a cobra snake hanging from his right shoulder and encircling his torso and back. The Ganesha is wearing a beautifully adorned garment around his waist. Naturally formed patina and some soil remnants are present. Excellent condition as well preserved in the earth cache. Fine Japanese wooden netsuke depicting Daikoku with a cat resting on his lucky sack; very fine carving throughout; deep himatoshi on the base; very good condition

19th century netsuke in manju (rice cake) shape carved with an image of Fukurokuju (one of the 7 Gods of Good Fortune) pulling a fox costume mask onto his head and holding a 9-tailed whip in his hand. Whip design continues on the back showing an attendant boy, one hand raised in amazement, the other holding a fan. Very unusual subject of a Lucky God as an actor, the whip is a clear reference to a mythical nine-tailed fox...

This old Japanese Noh theater mask has the expressive face of an old man. The mask is carved from paulownia wood and dates to middle Edo period, around 1750. The patina is wonderful.

This is a 19th century famille jaune brush pot with butterfly and watermelon motive incised with a feathery wave like yellow background. The butterfly symbolizes joy and felicity or to the effect meaning longevity. As for the watermelon, it does not hold any symbolic meaning. The nearest fruit that it can be compared to, is the pomegranate, because it has many seeds symbolizing offspring and posterity. This combine with the butterfly becomes very meaningful...

Japanese Meiji Period bronze vase. The vase has a poet on the front and bamboo and plum blossoms on the reverse. The handles are done in the shape of stylized elephant heads. Beautifully done with gold, silver and SHAKUDO inlays. Unsigned. The vase measures 13" tall and 8" wide at the handles.

Charming rustic Japanese antique jizai hook for heating water over a fire, made of keyaki (elm) wood and carved in the shape of a fish, beautiful wood grain with a deep patina from years of use, an iron hook is attached to the tail, a rope or chain would have threaded through a vertical hole from head to mouth, Edo Period (early to mid 19th century). This early 20th century yellow vase mounted as a table lamp is 20” high, 6 ¼” wide and 4 ½” in depth. The vase is 8 ¼” high, 5” wide and 3 ½” in depth. On both the front and back, it depicts a 5 clawed dragon floating between the ocean and the clouds. Eight immortal symbols are on both sides. The vase had been drilled and mounted on a cut out and embossed brass base. It is in great condition.
