An antique Japanese tsuba done in a fluted style. The tsuba is inlayed with different copper, gold, and silver colored metals done in the zogan and shakudo styles. The image is depicting the famous scene from the Tales of Ise known as Azuma Kudari where Ariwara no Narihira goes to the East and sees Mt. Fuji. Size: Diameter 2.5" Height 0.2" Age: 19th century

Chinese Rosewood low table (circa 1920's). Beautiful wood and grain, accented by the warm glow of the finish. The apron has very nice carving on all four sides in matching uniform.

Sutra book cover carved all over its surface with, in the center, a Bhaisajyaguru Buddha ("The Master of Healing") sitting on a lotus throne in a niche, and Tibetan characters on the rest of the surface. On one side, a monster head surrounded with floral designs is carved. Wood with fine dark-brown glossy patina and remnants of red pigments. Tibet, 15th century. Length: 53.5 cm. Erosion and chips, otherwise good condition.
Very nice early Ming "deep" bowled plate with a thick light green crackled glaze. In very good condition without any chips. Good symmetry overall. Diameter: 10 inches, height is 2 and half inches.
Song brown glaze jarlet...overall in good condition without chips or damage. This jarlet appears to have slumped slightly some time prior to firing. Diameter: 2 and half inches, height 2 and quarter inches.

A very rare big shard sample of Yuan dynasty bottle vase, this large yuhuchun shard is decorated with red under glaze, there is good sample drawing of flower. this shards is very good for studying and comparison to any one who interested in studying early Chinese porcelain.
An exquisite bird and flower painting features a Java sparrow rests on a branch in resurrection lily. Circa early Edo period, early 17th Century. This delicate painting is executed on paper with ink and pigments. A heavy Burmese alabaster buddha sitting in Mara Vijaya (calling the earth to witness) posture on a base, with meditative facial expression, emphasized by the half-closed eyes which look downwards.

An unearthed celadon Ewer pot was a rare example in Chinese early ceramic history especially for Chinese tea cultures.
A similar piece was found in an excavation site in Hunan Province and now is stored in Hunan Museum.

Beautiful Chinese antique porcelain bowl, with golden rim, made during the reign of Emperor Daoguang (1821-1850). Painted along its sides are beautiful young Chinese girls performing leisurely tasks, such as painting scrolls and reading, wearing bright and colorful robes in shades of pink, blue, purple, and green, and surrounded by potted flowers. Mark on bottom reads "Da Qing Daoguang Nian Zhi" or "Qing Dynasty Daoguang period make".

They both have square tops with a swirling wind design blowing silver and gold leaves about, oriental designs along the top rim, and beautiful flower designs along the outer rim. The left and right sides of the usubatas' bodies have very detailed dragons with lashing tongues and finned wings...
A Suanzi wood scholar tray was in rectangular form.
Decently preserved in nice patina, the wood tray was found on the reverse side with inscription attributed to an official of Japanese occupation district in China during World War Two.
During that periods, the Japanese invasion troops undertook the task of finding Chinese antiques back to Japan.
The tray was sent as a gift in great respect due to the excellent craftsmanship on the carving of the inscription...
Superb Taisho Period C. 1915 Japanese tea ceremony bronze flower vase. Placed in the tokonoma of a Japanese Tea House with a single flower it evokes the essence of wab sabi and the soul of the tea ceremony. Lovely art deco bulbous shape with wave diaper on the base. Each vase is decorated overall with various flowers on a medium-blue enamel ground within a continuous geometric fretwork pattern of gilt wires. Both the rim and base is gilded, now having some wear showing on each vase. The square area on the base is left from an old sticker removed in the past. Both vases have a melon form label body with a flaring mouth rim that is partially gilded inside...
Antique Vietnamese bowl made of blue and white glazed porcelain, with interesting designs along its side and a "double happiness" mark on the inside bottom. The double happiness symbol is often found on items to do with the Chinese New Year and weddings.

The artist would have started with a plain white base, painted his design with a mixture of finely ground cobalt oxide and water, and then used a transparent glaze all over. The bottle has a topper made of Jade. 19th century

The front of the xiù qiú is the opening to the snuff bottle and has a Jade stopper. 19th century

Large Song Celadon bowl, olive green in color. In very good condition without chips or cracks. There is an incised flower pattern in the bottom of the bowl. Otherwise, small fritting /granulation is evident in the bottom of the bowl and a couple of these may have been compromised/worn down. Nice overall symmetrical shape and crackle in the glaze is quite faint. Diameter: 7 plus inches and 3 inches in height.

Chinese rose medallion porcelain vase with with 2 dragons. Colors are rich and vibrant. Dating Early Republic it is in excellent condition with just a little expected wear to the gold and measures a little over 6.5 inches high by 3.5" diameter.
Tsuba with openwork design of a falcon resting on the branch of an old pine tree. Iron, with remnants of gilding on the falcon eye and on the tree leaves. The tsuba is unsigned. Japan, early Edo period. Height: 3 3/8" (8,7 cm. Oxidation, otherwise very good condition.
