Chinese blue with white background colored Peking glass vase, with a short trumpet neck encircled with stiff leaves above two female figures, one sitting under a tree and the other holding a flower branch amid clouds and landscape in relief. This fine glass vase has a height of 12 inches. Condition Report: Excellent condition without any chips or cracks.

A very rare Korean Celadon glazed bowl/washer of octagonal shape with inlaid decoration. Korean Koryo ( or Korai or Goryeo ) period ( 918 - 1392 ) Diameter : 12,3 cm. Condition : There is one short hairline ( please see the last enlargement )

Antique Chinese carved bamboo bitong (brushpot). Carved with scenes of mountain landscapes and bamboo groves with figures engaged in various rural activities. The rim is carved with a scrolling key motif.

These bottles are decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and colored enamels with a design of various painted fans floating on an iron red enamel ground that is covered with gilt spirals. The interiors and mouthrims are clear glazed. The bases are glazed clear and the footrings are unglazed, exposing the fine white porcelain paste. They are signed Kozan (Dai Nippon Kozan Sei) in underglaze blue. Both are in very good condition...

Korean metal oval shaped box, with copper lining and base. The top of the lid is incised with a mask and auspicious inscriptions, and its underside lined in dark stone or clay.

19th century boxwood netsuke of a baby boy crawling on his hands and knees, wearing a bib tied on his back. Excellent rendition of body and limbs showing baby fat, great face, hair knots are inlaid with dark horn. Very beautiful warm brown staining, pleasant patina, overall in excellent condition. Length 1 13/16 inches.

Rare detailed and finely painted Dynasty Chinese rose medallion porcelain plate: with the central design of birds perching on blossoming branches amid rocks while others flying around: together with chickens playing on the ground: surrounded by flowers and vines in cartouches, Mid-Qing dynasty. Size: Diameter of this plate is 8 1/2 inches. Condition Report: Very good condition.

Marked “Hichozan” and “made by Maru(circle mark) hei”. Hichozan was a large organization located in Kyushu, the southern island of Japan. The organization did not make any porcelain itself but had large workshops decorating blanks from other factories. Most of the blanks were made at Mikawachi where the Hirado kilns were located. They also ordered underglaze decorated wares that they could supply to their clients...

Japanese Edo to Meiji period Kanto style personal wood clothing chest (isho-dansu) with a single drawer on top and hinged burlwood doors opening to three additional drawers below. The top drawer has a rectangular black iron lockplate. The burlwood doors (referred to as "kannon-biraki do") are supported by five iron hinges on each side and a horizontal iron strap with a central round lockplate to secure and lock the doors.
