H : 5 cm. Longquan ware, Zhejiang. Southern Song Dynasty, thirteenth century. Condition : One, even at closeups not visible, restored area to the rim. ( There is still the typical bright ring-sound when you knock the piece )

Song Dynastie ( 12th - 13th century ) stoneware Temmoku with an extremely nice hares fur glaze ! This is our very best Temmoku until today ! Bowl has been broken into several pieces and re-attach as seen at picture, a very rare sample of early over glaze enamel motif.

A green glazed "celadon" stoneware vase with flattened pear-shaped body,ring handles and moulded decoration made in the Longquan kilns, Zhejiang province in the 14th Century, during the Yuan dynasty (1279-1368). On each side of the vase are six-lobed cartouches containing the Chinese characters "shou" (longevity) and "fu" (prosperity).
