A Chinese snuff bottle made of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue with the demon-queller Zhong Kui and a bat. The stopper is made from brown glass with a bone spoon. Condition: the stopper with a small chip, the porcelain with few tiny black spots, traces of usage. Dimension: c. 8.8 cm high.
A nicely carved natural amber pendant with one bat and leaf design. The bat represent longevity and happiness. The bat and happiness sound is in the Chinese language is similar - both pronounced Fu.It floats. Size: L. 2.3cm.

An antique Japanese Ko Tansu (personal storage chest) made of Kirinoki (Paulownia) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. All original hand made iron fittings including the Warabite handles and finish. The front has a natural Kirinoki wood finish while the case was finished in a wiped Urushi lacquer technique. Constructed using straight dovetail joinery and hardened wooden nails.

An antique statue of the lucky goddess He Xiangu holding a lotus, carved from a large bamboo piece with nice patina. One of the eight immortals of the Chinese Taoist pantheon. An antique Japanese merchant desk (Choba Tsukue) made of Keyaki (Zelkova) and Hinoki (Cypress). Beautiful natural burl grain to the drawer fronts. Hand forged iron Hikute handles with 3 drawers to either side balanced by a center drawer.

Chinese late Qing to early Republic period rosewood multi-tiered display stand carved with bamboo-form supports holding seven shelves for displaying objects. Carved bamboo leaf details are in the bottom corners. Early 20th century. 30" high x 19 3/4" wide x 10" deep. Very good overall condition. There are some separations from our dry climate and a few minor scratches, but the stand seems quite stable. From the Scottsdale estate of a former antique dealer.
A nicely carved very light pale celadon jade monkey on a bamboo swing that would make a nice pendant. This monkey is very life-like with a lot of character representing the year of the monkey.

Japanese antique couch, elaborately carved with coiling dragons, curving arms are carved in the form of two dragons, the seat is fitted with a cushion covered in silk brocade with a Chinese design, Meiji Period.
