A Very Fine/Rare Korean Early White Glazed Dish-16th C.: Korea, Joseon dynasty, 15th - 16th century. The elegantly potted shallow dish, sharply tapering to a raised foot and with a raised rim, with the interior face bordered with a single line, the both out and insides covered overall in an even greyish white glaze with the base. It’s in very good condition with applied white glaze overall evenly, it measures 17.2 cm x 4 cm

Antique Chinese Dehua (blanc de Chine) porcelain figure of Guan Yin, the feminine Chinese translation of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara. Holding a scroll in her left hand and prayer beads in her right, she sits with one knee raised. Her robes drape elegantly over her head and body. Her hair is swept up into a style befitting her bodhisattva status and her face exudes a sense of calm and extreme beauty...

Jizo is one of the most beloved Buddhist Boddhisatva in Japan as a guardian of children and travellers. Sado Island in Niigata Prefecture was once ringed with Jizo statues, and its granite quarries made it a center of religious statue production and sales. This Jizo holds his hands in front of his chest in prayer, or in the traditional Indian greeting of "namaste." His face is well worn from the elements and time, but a faint smile seems to grace his lips. H.25cm(10") x W.13cm(5").

This 19th century ivory carving of a young woman wearing a straw hat and holding a fish is 11” high (13 1/2” high with hardwood base), 2 ¾” wide and 2” thick. This young woman is the central figure in a well-known Chinese opera called “The Fisherman’s Revenge” (Da Yu Sha Jia). 1900's Chinese Solid Silver Dragon Bangle with Butterscotch Egg Yolk Amber Carved Bead

It is 7.4 inches (19 cm) inner circumference by 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) inner diameter and 0.8 inch (2.2 cm) wide. The bead is 2.4 mm wide. The total weight is 109.2 gram. The bracelet is 103.6 gram. The bead is 5.5 gram.

It is tarnished and has surface wears and scratches. The bead has inclusions and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos). Some of the photos were taken under the sun...

A Japanese thinly potted porcelain bowl that is decorated both inside and out with scenes of a Japanese village. The artist has detailed the houses, lake, boat, fisherman, people and a temple, and applied a beautiful gold border. The bowl measures about 2 1/2" high x 6" in diameter, and dates to the end of the Meiji Period. The bowl has been signed "eight days made", which is similar to the names of other Kutani studios from this period. The condition is excellent/perfect...

Fine Japanese antique engraved damascene cigarette case, observe side decorated with landscape scene and reversed side with boats and birds in flight, inside box is also decorated with birds in flight, late 19th century period. Size; length of case is 3 1/2 inches with a minor dent to the upper right side.

Five(5) Chinese Blue and White Bowls, Ca. 19th C., underglaze blue decoration of free design of double happiness and floral and scrolling vines, 6" to 1 1/2" diameter-top rim, 2" to 2 1/2" high, various heights and width, they are all different hand painted underglaze blue design. The condition is good, no damages.

Antique Tibetan lacquer cabinet, hand-painted in motifs of flowers and foliage surrounding a central auspicious object on each front panel. Its 4 front doors are removable and swing open on rounded pegs. The top surface is slightly flared and has a panel carved with geometric designs below, similar to those seen in each painting.

19th century boxwood netsuke of two scholar-hermits wearing simple robes and leaf capes and skirts, totally absorbed by the game of GO. Perfectly captured mood of quiet concentration. Very good assured carving, great faces, wonderful detailing of leaf capes, beautiful mellow patina. Signed SEIZAN in rectangular reserve on the bottom - the artist is listed on p. 928 of NETSUKE & INRO ARTISTS AND HOW TO READ THEIR SIGNATURES by George Lazarnick. Height 1.22 inches.

Length/width approximately 13.3 cm (across the handles). Few soft dents at censer. In good condition.

We continue our presentation of Ohi chawan (Ohi tea bowls) with yet another sublime vessel, a true eye-catcher made at the end of the Meiji Period around 1910. It's a unique Ohi Chawan which seems to be a kuro Raku bowl, but it isn't. With its sophisticated shape and its mesmerizing play of predator pattern inside its outstanding.
