This is Katazome kimono of Edo period. This is the Silk pongee that a face was spun by hand. The lining is cotton cloth. A Chinese porcelain bowl with fluted wall/ blue and white motifs decorations, an unreadable mark inside the foot rim. Ming Dynasty Jiajing to Longqing period, circa mid-16th century. Condition: minor kiln faults and a few tiny glaze flakes on the rim, photo #6 shows two example of them. The bowl is not in a perfect round shape. Please refer to photos for condition details. This Japanese hibachi is made from a single piece of Kiri wood, aka paulownia. A design of thick raised gold lacquer, aka Makie depicts Botan peony plant with added colors of pink and green for definition of flower and a single leaf. Hibachi comes with the original copper insert and the condition is very good. A couple of hard to find scratches and tiny (pinheadsize) dents on the top rim. Hibachi dates from late Meiji period.
