A Chinese snuff bottle made of snowflake glass, with red overlay. Both sides with a carved and engraved chilong-dragon. The stopper is made from green glass and a bone spoon. Condition: the stopper eventually not original, traces of usage, bottle inside with some snuff residue. Dimension: c. 8.3 cm high.
A Kannon Bosatsu wooden statue from the early Meiji Period (19th century) with rests of its original paint.
It is a unique peace of buddhist art, as it bears on its back a writing with black ink from a Samurai. The charakters mean Saikoku Sanjusansho (The Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage), made by 'Yasukuni Joza' in the status of Bushi (Samurai) in Bungo area, Oita Prefecture.
There are no similar pieces to find. It is really matchless and singular...
Description: A lovely dog was carved vividly in a crouching way. Lying as is in sleeping, the dog's ribs were obvious by the carver's observation.The sandstone's quality was strong and the color was in grayish white and amid with black dots. Date was judged by the overall erosions and the characteristic style of the subject. Date: Song period(12th century), Width: 12cm , Height: 9.5cm.

It was preserved in very good condition with darken patina, rust surface.

A rare moonlight-tinted celadon statue of Bodhisattva was mold in beautiful features.
Holding in one hand with a string of rosary when another hand holding a purifying bottle, the Bodhisattva was clad with Song style clothing.
Applied with light-tinted celadon glaze, the surface of the figure was kept in very good condition when numerous bubbles were squeezed in the glaze.
Some pinpoint incursion were happened to the glaze when some burial coatings were preserved on...

This is Yogi of the great high quality of Edo period. As for this, the Kaiki- silk of the high quality is used. As for this, silk Katazome is used for the part of the shoulder. The green Tumugi- silk thread is basting thread.

The frog (kaeru) is associated with luck and wealth. Kaeru means both "frog" and "coming home" in Japanese. This extension of meaning is due to the ability of the frog to return each year to the pond of its birth. A gong in the shape of a frog can thus sometimes be used as a door hammer or to protect a house.
