This is a Japanese antique sakiori-obi cotton & silk textile.It is in very good condition with no stains or damage. There is a slight folding mark, but it is not a problem.Size::Length 356cm / Width 26.5cm

Distorted shoe shaped (kutsugata) tea bowl with a flaring mouth made of light, coarse, unrefined Mino clay. The expertly thrown body was trimmed with a potters knife in its lower part and its brim. It dates back to the early Edo Period (1603-1868).

It is covered with a very deep black iron oxide glaze inside and outside. A 'window' on the side has been left unglazed and is decorated with two fish nets hung for drying...

This pair of carved ivory emperor and empress are early 20th century export pieces. The emperor is 14 ¼” high with base (without base, it is 12 5/8” high), 2 ½” wide and 2” thick. The empress is 13 ½” high with base (without base, it is 12” high), 2 ½” wide and 2” thick. The emperor is holding a sword and the empress is holding a Ruyi. The robes are very well carved with dragon and phoenix design. They are in excellent condition.

This dish is painted in the “wu cai” manner with overglaze enamels combined with underglaze cobalt blue. The interior base has a design of flowers and rockwork surrounded by petal lappets around the well of the dish. Each petal contains an enameled flower decoration. Japanese cloisonné bottle form lidded vase on a Satsuma earthenware substrate with "kidney bean" cloisons, signed in orange-red on the base "Kinkozan." The body of the vase is decorated with opposing blue flower filled cartouches with white borders set against a black background permeated with flowers. A blue band with red and white flowers and diamond forms encircles the neck. The lid is decorated with a single flower. Meiji period (circa 1870s). 8” high. Very good overall condition...
