A Chinese silver tankard, applied onlaid with a continuous decoration of a phoenix, birds of paradise and storks amongst flowering trees, chrysanthemums and prunus. It has a hammered background, a vacant shield and double-walled interior. The decoration is in high relief, creating a three dimensional sculptural surface and amazingly in an excellent condition. A good bronze bombe form censer with rare figural decoration. The base carries the six character mark of the Ming Xuande Emperor but this item was made much later during either the late 18th or early 19th Centuries (c1790 - 1850).

A large vase, spectacularly decorated with falangcai (famille rose) enamels against a pale green background depicting a pantheon of gods, immortals, legendary figures and mythical beasts in a heavenly landscape amongst mountains and clouds. This item was made in the first half of the 19th Century during the reign of the Daoguang Emperor (1821-1850).
Condition - the neck has been cut down, and ground, there are glaze hairlines to the base and there are minor losses to the enamels...
Diameter approximately 13.3cm (across the body). Few soft dent. Fair erosion. Nice patina. In good condition.

Antique Chinese gilt copper repoussé box with hinged lid. Decorated all over with finely detailed designs of birds in blossoming branches. A phoenix adorns the front and back of the box and white jade carved in the form of three fruits (probably peaches) decorates the lid.
