Burmese painting done on a large, cloth canvas, likely depicting the Jataka tales, or stories of Buddha, with nine separate panels, each depicting a different tale of Buddha's previous lives. The very center painting shows Buddha sitting in a lotus position with two attendants at his sides, their hands clasped in prayer to him, and it is the only panel that does not have any Burmese script in white paint...

A very rare Yuan dynasty blue and white large double spout ewer, rounded side with raising double spout and unglazed base, ewer decorated witj under glaze blue of continous flower motif and molded shrimp, upper part with silver mounted.
Ewer is in good condition with silver mounted and small defect at the top of the spout covered.
Size: 12.5 cm height, 12 cm diameter.
A very fine Qing 18th century Yongzheng period blue and white large dish, rounded side with deep center and unglazed base, dish decorated fine under glaze blue of continous flower motif.
Dish is in very good condition no chip, no crack no restoration.

-She wears a white sack mask with red spots painted on her cheeks, fox skin ruff, woman’s dress, and maiden’s shawl. She may be barefooted or wear white boots. She usually carries a gourd filled with water.
She is said to be the mother of all the kachinas, and is a principal actor in the Water Serpent Ceremony. She may appear at other ceremonies such as the Niman Kachina Dance.

A small Hopi Kachina doll, possibly depicting Samawutaqa, circa 1930-1940. Description of Samawutaqa from Colton, 1949, p. 61: "Appears in Mixed Kachina Dance. This is said to be the only kachina that the Tewa people brought with them from the Rio Grande to Hano about 1700." 7" tall.

Water pot of squat, ovoid form with a narrow foot and slight depression of a base. The even lavender-blue tone of the glass is translucent in strong light and is well-polished on the interior as well as the exterior. Such items as this were essential for the scholar's desk and are more often seen in ceramics than in Beijing glass. There are a few areas of abrasion and scratches from use and some light wear to the foot area...
