Featuring a hand painted continuous scene of a Chinese village landscape with boats on water and intricate borders, it is in excellent antique condition, showing only a little wear to the gold trim at the rim and top of handle. Pair of Japanese damascene candlesticks, the body of each with dramatic imagery of serpentine dragons and fireballs. The foliate petal rims decorated with chrysanthemums and coiling vines, and the tripod feet with auspicious objects and flowers. Both candlesticks are signed "Kuma" in gilt pigment on the base.

Two lotus decorated small plates for everyday use, so-called Minyao ware. Ming style but Jiaqing period (1796-1820), both with owner's mark in the well. Exportation lacquer seal to one plate, under-glaze blue seal mark to both. Diameter "5¾/ 14,5 cm. Condition: fine.

A fine and balance potted small celadon ewer, covered overall with dark green celadon glaze. Condition is very good, no any chip, no crack and free from restoration as well. Song Dynasty possibly Yaozhou ware. High maximum: 10,3 cm.

This marked Tong Zhi Period (1862~1874) Famille-Rose ribbed rice bowl is 2 ¼ inches tall and 4 ¾ inches in diameter. It depicts two boys from good families playing in a garden. One is feeding a bird; the other is watching two flying bats. The bird, magpie and bat represent good luck in Chinese custom. The workmanship is precise and refined. It is in great condition.

Japanese antique 15 ken (plates) jingasa hat for a ashigaru foot soldier. Made of iron with large rivets and edged with oxidized silver. Comes with a custom metal stand. The samurai class in feudal Japan, as well as their retainers and footsoldiers (ashigaru), used several types of jingasa made from iron, copper, wood, paper, bamboo, or leather.

A tanged 'Luristan' bronze dagger from Ancient Near East, Caspian Sea Area, Bronze age, dating to 2nd mill BC.

The dagger with rounded shoulders, a short tang and central midrib. The top of the blade has two holes for fastening rivets.

Length: c. 26,5 cm.

Condition: Fine green patina with some roughness to the edges. The blade has a bend at the the tip, as seen on pictures.

Behind his tall headdress is a sun disk. Krishna and his consort, Radha together represent the ideal relationship of love between god and soul. Beautiful original patina and hand rubbed finish.
