This superb late 19th century export ivory carving is 11 ¾” high, 4 ½” wide and 3 ¾” thick. It depicts daily activity in a small village. There are houses, temples and pagodas surrounded by a river, a forest of pine trees and mountains. There is an old repair on a pine tree, some small losses and several hairline cracks on the top of the tusk. Considering its age, it is in great condition.
A delicate little porcelain wine cup with butterflies. The enamels are just beautiful, precise, not grainy, etc. It has an iron red Tongzhi mark on the bottom. Except for a little wear to the gold on the rim, it is in excellent condition measuring approximately 2 5/8” wide and 1.25" high.
This is a late Qing period crystal snuff bottle. On the shoulder of the snuff bottle it is curved with the design of Ruyi and the body that of the petals of the lotus and at the base it is surrounded all round with the lappets of the lotus. A very nice and elegant as well as well curved crystal snuff bottle. Cir. late Qing 19th/20th century.

iridescent glaze. 14/15th Century. Foot and part of inside (middle ring only) unglazed, typical for stacked ware fired in kilns during this period to prevent bowls from sticking to each other. This antique Korean ink stone was carved from a thick piece of black stone, and is 7.25 inches (18 cm) x 11 inches (28cm) x 3 inches (7.6 cm) high. It weights about 14 lbs. The lid is deeply carved with a swirling dragon. The base of the stone has a grinding surface that slopes to a deep inkwell for collecting the liquid ink. The border of the base is carved with a simple repeat decoration.
One corner of the lid has a chip with most of the loss on the underside...
This Indo-Persian antique silver repousse lidded container box was probably intended for cosmetics. The elaborate design work is flawless and the attention to detail were hallmarks of luxury items made during the late 19th century in both India and Persia. There are 2 makers marks and some scratches on the bottom of the box. See picture
