A highly unusual bronze seal with a 14,3 cm. projecting handle, Bactria, Hindu-Kush area, c. 3rd. millenium BC.

Antique Chinese famille rose porcelain vase with a scene of a pair of birds over a field of lotus. A lotus leaf bends under the weight of the birds as they look through the field of lotus blossoms. The reverse bears an inscription of calligraphy. The base bears a red seal. It is attributed to Shi Yuchu. It measures 10" tall, 2.25" wide at the mouth, 2" 3/8" at base.
This is a fine 18th century 5.75 inch Nabeshima footed dish with blue underglaze, decorated with two enameled peaches and leaves.
There are two old gold lacquer repairs to the rim.
Burl wood and silver bowl, used for Tsampa, the traditional Tibetan porridge, and for buttered tea. The silver lining plain, the exterior with chased and delicately engraved decoration of flowers. Tibetan silver normally lacks hallmarks and this bowl tested for a silver content of 925 /1000. Probably antique, late 19th or early 20th century. Diameter "4 ½ / 11 cm, height "2 ¼ / 5.7 cm. Condition: fine.

An antique Japanese Choba Tansu (marchant chest) made of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware including the Kakute handles and incised Chrysanthemum lock plates. Unusual low size with two drawers side by side, a pair of sliding doors and a security hinged door behind which lie 3 small drawers and a secret hiding box. Side swivel handles through which a pole passed through allowing two persons to carry this chest from place to place...
An unusually large Korean chest made with persimmon wood, with four drawers with brass pulls running along the top, and three sets of doors on brass hinges going down the center. Very attractive and functional design, perfect for a kitchen cabinet. 19th century.
