Very rare pottery bowl and eclectic with Taoist imagery. This is made from a high fired light gray pottery, with traces of a white slip and depictions of musicians, dancers and “demon” masks. This is a funerary piece; the symbology suggests the transition from this world to the afterlife. D: 14cm/5.5in and H: 5.2cm/2in. No cracks original pigments with some kiln warpage

Tokimono (kimono textile, unseamed and washed) of unlined summer kimono with katazome (stencil-resist-dye) Ryusui-mon (running water) design. It is made of hemp and gauze weave. Two pieces of cloth for bodies have tow slits (10cm) in the middle, for necks. The print was purchased in an antique bookstore in Jinbocho Tokyo 1951 and is in good condition with minor staining (see photos below).

A nice and rare porcelain cup, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with jumping horses. Ming Dynasty, Chenghua Period ( 1465 - 1487 ) Diameter : 6,2 cm. H : 4,2 cm. Condition : No chip, no crack, no repair. This what looks like a chip is covered by the original glaze. And this what looks like a crack is just a still very dirty scratch. This excavated piece is still un-cleaned. After a professional cleaning this scratch might become quite invisible to the naked eye...

It is a silk kimono made in Akita region in the latter half in the Meiji era. In the times when better quality was found in the Meiji era, this is a superior expensive item.
