A very beautiful and finely potted ewer of gourd shaped from the Song dynsty.

Very good condition. No restoration, chip, crack or hairline. Because of one of the small stone pit standing on the base, it does not stand totaly flat. However this does not affect the beauty and aesthetic shaped of the gourd shaped ewer. Nice gloss and colour.

The dimesnsion of the gourd shaped ewer: the height is 13cm and the width is 12 cm. The base width is about 6cm.

Lovely ceramic amber and green sancai glaze fish offering from the Ming Dynasty. These were put on small pottery altar tables and interred with ancestor to provide for them in the afterlife. Pair of small Ming dynasty Longquan celadon vases of compressed pear-form with flaring foliate form mouth decorated on opposing sides with low moulded relief leafy floral decoration. A pair of s-shaped handles are on each side of the neck. The celadon glaze with olive tint ends at the slightly flaring unglazed foot which has burnt orange from firing. The recessed base is glazed. This is a greenish glazed bowl dated to the Northern Song Dynasty. It stands on a short foot rim with a recess base. On the cavetto, it is divided into four sections of incised abstract cloud like drawings. It has a shade of greenish-grey glaze.

The bowl is in very good conditions with the glaze intact. There is a small chip as shown in picture 3. It has an overglaze on it. Other than that, in the center of the bowl it has a samll sand grits and bits from the incised motives...
