This is a famille jaune glaze bowl used for auspious events such as birthday and joyous occassions that calls for celeberation. In the center of the bowl, it has five wufu or bats surrounding the character longevity, all in copper red colour. It has a six character seal mark dated to Guangxu reign. This bowl is possibly dated to the early 20th century and of the period.

This is a medium size Daoguang period minyao dish. It is decorated with bamboos (flexibility ad durability) and beneath it is a small taihu rock (strong and solid foundation) with two lingzhi (longveity) to the left and right. To the right is a poem.

A rouge-de-fer or copper red tea cup with the longevity motive. It has Tonzhi seal mark on the cover as well as the base of cup and is of the period.

A very beautiful cloisonne candy box, uniquely colored in both red and yellow; both symbolical of Chinese culture. The collar and shoulder are decorated with the highly stylized bat or ruyi cloud pattern, as well as the surrounding portion of the handle knob, along with floral and tendril foliage. Good condition, with a few tiny nicks, but hardly worth mentioning, save for accuracy sake. Original patina and antique charm well preserved, size 18 cm diameter or 7" and 6 cm or 2.5" high...

An early Republic Period hat stand painted in Qianjiang style with Shou Lao, the God of Longevity, carrying a branch of peaches. This lovely hat or wig stand can be used as a vase. In very good condition, it measures 11” high x 4.75” diameter.

This is a large Song dynasty cizhou glazed rectangular shaped pillow. The top of the pillow is incised with a single stalk of lotus flower in a pond within a carttouche inside a double line rectangular frame.

Some minor chips as shown in the picrures, especially number 4, along the edges. There are also some soil calcification especially can be seen on the top left hand of the pillow, abrasion and wear...

This Indonesian container would have been carried by a man using the handmade string as a shoulder strap. The "purse" was hand carved out of a local hardwood and both the top and bottom have decorative details.

The container sits stably on it base but can also be hung on the wall as an interesting sculpture artifact.

Unique clear glass Sino Tibetan image of a Dakini, most likely cast from a mold. Basically even with the usual clay images it is problematic dating them as the molds may be old but the item recently made, this piece has traces of compacted soil, surface pitting and wear, as well as small Ming Dynasty Buddhist and Taoist clear glass charms having been documented, I feel a circa 100 year plus is a conservative dating...

These antique iron stirrups probably belonged to a low level horse soldier of the Chinese army during the Qing dynasty. They are well patinated.

This is a fantastic example of an early bronze dagger blade with handle rivets still present and intact. This type was common to large areas of the Middle East from present day Greece across to Iran. This is an interesting copper alloy dagger. It has a triangular blade with a prominent midrib and a short, flat tang. The patina is an unusual light gray color and there are some brown encrustation on the surface of both sides. It measures roughly 24 cm in length and weighs 111 grams. This type of dagger is typically very early (before 1500 BC).

This is a wonderful example of an ancient bronze spear from ancient Greece or Persia. It has a beautiful, leaf-shaped blade with a strong central rib. The tang is rectangular with a 90 degree bend at the end that is finished with a perfect round knob. The patina is a mix of light greens and browns. This is quite an unusual mace head from ancient Persia, likely dating to around 1200 BC. It is decorated with incised linear patterns and small spikes. There are 5 spikes on each of three segments. This piece came from a large private collection of axes and spears. It is solid and stable with no apparent repairs or restorations. It weighs 418 grams and measures roughly 13 cm in length.

Antique haidate(Echu style), samurai's thigh guard, with metal pieces and chain on stencil dyed (katazome) cotton. The metalwork is older, probably from the 17th to 18th century. This was probably remade sometimes later in the Meiji period. Dimensions are 21 1/4” wide and 21 3/4" long with ties on both sides.

This extremely rare Neolithic Chinese bone comb was dug out in present day Province of Shaanxi, Southern region, close to Yellow River (Xi'an , Banpo settlements). It is 4" wide by 2 1/8" high.
