A very large Yuan dynasty longquan celadon dish, rounded side with flatted raise rim and glazed base, dish decorated with carved large flower motif at interior and vertical ribbing suggesting flower petal motif at inner wall, dish covered with green glaze.
Dish is in very good condition, no chip, no crack, no restoration.

A Chinese coral figure of a standing maiden in an elaborate and floating robe holding a basket of flowers. Rendered with great competence and detail, it is a very attractive composition. The coral is of pinkish hue with occasional white spots. age; C. 1910. size: 17.5 cm high including the fixed wood stand. condition; very good, no restoration, no breaks. there are natural tubules to the back.

Pair Japanese porcelain vases decorated in various shades of blue under glaze to show a view of Mount Fuji. On the bottom of both vases is the Fukagawa factory mark, and the vases dates to the early 20th Century. Each vase measures 10" high x 7 1/2" in diameter. Glazed on the biscuit with green, yellow and brown enamels. On the base are three unglazed spots on which the piece was fired. Stopper in the form of bat, handle in form of stem and spout in the form of blossom. Very good condition with only minor construction flaws glazed over in the firing.

A Myochin iron forged Jizai Okimono articulated spiny lobster. Each iron plate is carefully reppouse hammered iron creating a natural realism representing the spiny lobster. The amount of fine detail that goes into this piece is equal to that of one of his most well known helmets. The lobster is fully splayed on a well mounted bronze stand.

A large, Museum Quality pottery figure of a male attendant carrying a leather bottle under his arm. The figure dates to Ming Dynasty, 1368-1644 AD.
The figure is placed on a large Lotus throne on top of high hexagonal plint, both in fine Sancai colours - a two-colour green and yellow glazed robe.
He wears a high hat. Finely painted facial details. Lotus thrones are very rare for Ming pottery figures...
A very large ceramic box in the shape of a peach that was used to decorate the ancestral altar. Such boxes were used to hold trinkets, precious offerings, and maybe incense when worshiping ones' ancestors. The inside of the box is divided and sealed with a green glaze. The peach measures about 5" long x 5" wide x 3 1/4" high, and dates to the end of the 19th Century. The Box has one chip at the side of one leaf. Free shipping within the USA.

Chinese heavy carved Stone Slab with Rabbit carving on one side and Floral branch on the other side, Ca. 19th C. 12 1/2" high, 14 1/2" wide, 5 1/2" deep on bottom plat form section. Nicely aged old look, the condition is good, no major damages.
Japanese single section clothing tansu, with Kuri burl hardwood front drawers, iron lock plates with foliate edges, warabite pulls, fan-shaped iron corner hardware. The bottom corner has a safe door with round lock plate and ring pull. Inside are the two smallest drawers in the chest.

Antique Japanese carved wooden Kyōgen theatre mask of Zo-onna (middle-aged woman). Still beautiful, she is more serious than her younger counterparts. Her face is longer and narrower and she does not smile but her mouth is open, showing both rows of perfect teeth. Beautifully carved of hinoki (Japanese cypress) wood, signed on the inside.
The characters of the signature read 工藤則朝作 (作, saku, here means "work of _" / "made by _", and the name is 工藤則朝)...
