The underglaze cobalt blue, rare Phoenix decoration of this quite small porcelain bowl is executed in an nearly Imperial Quality. The cobalt blue is excellent. Ming Dynasty, Jiajing Period ( 1522 - 1566 ) Jingdezhen ware.
Diameter : 10,3 cm. Condition : One chip to the inside of the unglazed footring. Further in an very nice condition. Very nice glaze, no crack with a nice " Ping " tone when tapped.
Here is a great little decorated Khmer or Champa pottery pipe. This particular piece is heavily decorated with some minor damage in the form of chips to the rims and body. It measures almost 6cm in length. I currently have three of these that were all recovered by divers from the red river delta, which accounts for their pristine condition.
An antique Japanese Kotansu (organizer storage chest) made entirely of Kirinoki (Paulwonia) wood. Hand forged iron hardware with Warabite handles. 9 drawers used for organizing artist supplies, Japanese carpenter hardware or store supplies. Constructed using straight dovetail Japanese joinery and hardened wooden nails. A very utilitarian chest that would work well in any home decor.

Good shards sample of Yuan blue and white large ewer, shards is decorated with under glase blue of rare tree friends of winter motif, there is good sample drawing of flower motif. these shards is very good for studying and comparison for any one who interested in studying early Chinese porcelain, newly excavated from east java.
This is a beautiful rare box signed by Honda. We have never seen a box signed by Honda before this one. As an added bonus, the box is in excellent condition. Has silver rims and measures about 5 x 4 x 2 1/2 inches.
