An attractive and interesting seal carved with three horned animals and a bird behind, Western Mesopotamia, Ubaid period. c. 4th. mill. BC.
Boldly carved substantial seal in serpentine in the gable form.

Condition: VF, fine wear from use to the horisontical perforation, but with the central seal image fully preserved.

Nice circa 18t/19th century high fired terra cotta Akshobhya Buddha in bhumiparsa mudra and holding a vajra in his lap with traces of original blue, white and gold pigments. This piece appears to have been excavated and the head has been reattached. H: 11cm/4.2in and W: 7.5cm/3in.

Beautiful, unopened, three paneled, semi antique, woman’s sarong from Flores Island (probably Ende), Indonesia. Circa 1950 +/-. All hand spun and woven cotton and natural dyes. Chinese Qing dynasty Qianlong period deep dish decorated in underglaze blue on a white porcelain ground with four fish swimming among marsh grasses. Unglazed base. 11” diameter x 2 1/2" high. 18th century. Good overall condition. There is a fine old hairline extending around the outer and inner edge. It is about 1 1/4" long and has a two-prong fork at the end on the inside. It barely catches with a fingernail. Typical surface wear and production imperfections...
A Northern Chinese, polychrome, dish from the Jin dynasty; C12-13th AD. Possibly, slightly earlier, and from the Liao dynasty.
Decorated with a floral motif, the interior is covered with a sancai-type glaze, whilst the exterior show it's buff-coloured paste.

A Chinese, black glazed, stem cup; Yuan dynasty. Elegantly potted; rising from it's slightly flared foot, to the U-shaped bowl with an everted rim. The iron-rich black glaze appears brown at the rim and above the foot, where it terminates.

The bottle has an unusually elegant, typically Japanese shape, it was created for the Japanese market and not for export. The porcelain, immaculately white, has a very fine grain similar to that of marble, which is typical of Hirado clay. This is an authentic Tibetan cast bronze Buddha, shown in the "earth-touching" gesture,witnessing his divinity, and sealed with a double-dorje (vajra) impressed mark. The piece is complete and retains the consecration in the interior of the statue. The piece measures 3-1/2" in height and is in excellent condition, save for a small, nearly invisible, crack along the front of the neck,as shown in the photos. The head has not been broken off or reattached and the piece is completely stable...
Lovely terracotta lamp of the Loeschcke VIII and with a fine depiction of Eros holding the arms of Mars, below on the base is an inscription as a mark of the workshop.
