Antique Japanese small netsuke (inro toggle) carved in the form of a rural house under a large pine tree. The 2 story house, which is visible from three sides has multiple windows and a tiny figure standing in one. The pine tree with exaggerated branches grows on the side of the house, it's branches curving over it's roof. Carved of bone.

Colossal incense burner in cast bronze representing the divine carp ridden by the fisherman who spared her when she was little. To reward him, she takes him to heaven and immortality. Wooden base. An antique Japanese Isho Biraki (Kimono chest with doors) made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. Upper section opens to 4 removable Kimono trays, 2 Obi trays and 3 small accessory drawers. The bottom section has 3 large drawers for additional spacious storage of clothes. All original hardware and constructed using straight dovetail joinery and hardened wooden nails.

He was also the master of waka poems and calligraphy.
Ukita Ikkei was captured and imprisoned in Ansei Purge and died shortly after he was released from prison when he was 65 years old.

Skillfully crafted Shino ware Tea Bowl (Chawan) for tea ceremony made in 19 century by anonymous potter.
Shino ware is produced in today's Gifu prefecture since 16th century and it is distinguished by thick white glazes, red marks and the surface of small holes.
