An antique Japanese Kotansu small chest made of Sugi (Cryptomeria) wood. All original lacquer finish and hand forged iron hardware. Most likely a bespoke commissioned chest suiting the owner who wanted to secure the 5 storage drawers behind a hinged door. Interesting 3 side handle configuration suggesting that the contents that was stored was haavy in weight.

This seven feet tall Antique Korean Trident is the only Joseon Dynasty Trident ever offered for sale. The few existing examples are all in museums in Korea. Only Korea has this type of trident with the small round iron cymbals under the fork for scaring off tigers and other wild animals. The shape of the fork is also uniquely Korean. The Chinese trident has much rounder corners. 82 inches (208 cm) tall, 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) wide.

This Japanese antique tsutsugaki textile fireman coat Sashiko Edo era(1800-1867), has a beautiful and dynamic drawing of a hawk that spreads its wings and flaps powerfully on the bold waves. This powerful hawk movement is a painting that is rarely seen in the firefighter Sashiko. And the sharp eyes of the hawk are very impressive. There is a light stain on the bottom wave, but it is not noticeable...
This is an authentic nephrite jade huang carved, as one would expect, entirely by hand, done in a translucent pale greenish-gray jade with russet inclusions.
