Snuff bottle of almost globular form, made of two sections carved from burl which has then been lacquered in black. The bottle has a silver neck and a silver circular frame holding the two sections together. It also has an opening with round silver repoussé mount with geometric design at one side, the lid ending in a coral top. Tibet, 18th century. Diameter: 3" (7,6 cm). A quite large, thinly potted porcelain bowl. The decoration of a Daragon and a Phoenix brilliantly enameled in famille rose, iron red and gold. The execution of the decoration is done in an nearly imperial quality. Guangxu period with a six character iron red Qianlong Mark to the base. Diameter : 21 cm. H : 9,5 cm. Condition : Perfect with a very nice "ping" tone when tapped. The bowl shows an old paper label with an inventory Number.
Antique Chinese porcelain inkwell with clear glaze. The lid and the box's sides show the image of a dragon compromised of thin swirling lines against a recessed background. This is a very special Japanese cloisonne vase. It is signed Ota Kichisaburo. The vase is loaded with intricate fine work and it is only 6 inches tall. Also note in some of round wire designs there are silver wires that were fused perpendicular to the ribbed form and others are filled with colored enamel. The vase is in excellent condition.
