A Japanese Arita lobed dish decorated with a dragon descending from clouds, grasping the pearl of wisdom. The back with a fuku mark. The dish dates from 1750~1790. A similar design to Chinese examples of the Yongzheng period.

Approximately 14.4 cm diameter. Perfect condition.

18th century Indian bronze votive sculpture of dancing Krishna playing a flute, cast in the State of Orissa. This avatar of Vishnu playing flute for gopis is known as Krishna Venugopala (as always in this image, flute was cast separately, and is missing). Excellent casting and detailing (see his eyes inlaid with silver), wonderful face, beautiful patina, very pleasant feel of age to the sculpture. Height 5 7/8 inches.

A good washer with relief of an impressive Dragon, covered overall with a pale celadon like Qingbai glaze. Condition with tiny chip to dragon antlers and a firing crack to base, further in perfect condition. Ming/Qing dynasty possibly 17th/18th century, Fujian province ware. Diameter maximum: 16.6cm.

This is a Japanese antique indigo dye and Bengala dye hemp-Umakake Tsutsugaki-type dyeing. A very impressive and charming pattern of wheel crests, treasure balls and checkers. There is a slight stain, but it is not noticeable. There is no damage. It's in very good condition. Size:Length:440cm(173.2inch) / Width:67cm (26.3inch)

18th to early 19th century iron Japanese sword tsuba inlaid with branches of maple tree with leaves turning yellow and red, roots and cresting waves below, design continuing on the back . Wonderful work with brass and copper inlays, precise detailing and well captured mood of contemplation and autumnal melancholy. The plate has a dark brown patina, overall in great condition. Maple Height 2.84 inches.

Antique Chinese small cabinet with six open shelves originally intended for displaying small precious artworks. There are two small drawers between the upper and lower shelves. The bottom portion of the chest has two cabinet compartments opened by hinged doors. The entire surface of the wooden cabinet is lacquered and detailed with vine and floral motifs.

A beautiful sapphire blue Qianlong period (1736-1795) small wasted and broad shouldered jar. The cobalt blue mimics the old heap and pile effect of the earlier Ming dynasty. The glaze has a silkly smooth texture typical of early 18th C. porcelains. The white patch at the neck area is a clay slip that was partially glazed and was not scored because of a slight depression in the affected area...

Ni-Mai do complete armour, (tosei gussoku), the helmet (kabuto) of the hoshi suji bachi type (visible rivets) with 62 lames. Signed inside the bowl but illegible. Tehen in gilded and chiseled copper. Maedate with demon head (oni) and gilt lacquered wakidate. The mabizashi and the 5-lame shikoro are made of black lacquered iron. The menpo in brown lacquered iron and mustache is of the ressei type. The teeth are silver lacquered. The gorget (yodarekake) of 4-lame...

An 18th Century Japanese porcelain scalloped serving bowl, with lid, decorated with the Imari colors of red, blue, white, cream, and gold. The tureen measures about 9 1/4" long x 6 1/2" wide x 7" tall. The Shippo design family crest has been applied in gold on the blue panels. The finial is modeled as a sixteen pedal chrysanthemum blossom. The condition is excellent, with some wear to gold highlights. The asking price includes shipping within the USA.
