Antique Chinese small porcelain plate from the Yuan Dynasty. The body of the plate has a foliate form with scalloped rim, white glaze. The entire foot is left unglazed and is slightly recessed.

West Mexican pre Columbian Pottery Fragments and Large Arm. The arm in grey clay from a good sized figure holding an orb as well as a pottery flask section with small hole at top and a solid grey clay disk. The arm L 5.5"

The compressed globular body supported by three conical feet, with a pair of loop handles rising from the rim. PERIOD: Ming Dynasty. MEASURES: Height from feet to handle 10 cm and diameter 2.5 cm. CONDITION: No chips, cracks or hairlines and free from restorations.

A beautiful antique Annamese Vietnamese jar with a clear ivory glaze. On the shoulder are 4 applied rosettes between 2 raised lines. Vertical lines extend from the rosettes to the unglazed base. The jar has a short neck and rolled rim. Some imperfections. Annamese refers to Vietnamese porcelain, since Annam was the name of the southernmost province of China after the Tang dynasty. The name is the Vietnamese form of the Chinese name "the Pacified South"...

Found in the Philippines. Green-glazed stonewares from Zhejiang province were widely exported to the Philippines, Indonesia and mainland south-east Asia. Local potters emulated the Chinese wares, and by the 14th century, Thailand and Vietnam had developed successful ‘celadon’ industries of their own...

During the Kamakura period in Japan (1185-1333), a remarkable form of Buddhist sculpture known as the votive Buddha emerged. Commonly referred to as kakebotoke (hanging Buddhas), pieces like this would have been mounted on spherical plaques made of bronze or copper and hung in a Buddhist temple or possibly even in a Shinto shrine. These small-scale sculptures were created to serve as objects of devotion and were often commissioned by wealthy individuals or temples...

His sandals are underneath the pedestal as well as a ewer. The other priest holds a flat device in his right hand and a tip of his garment in his left hand. Underneath the pedestal are his sandals. Very detailed painting. Black ink, mineral colors, gofun and gold on loosely woven silk (ca. 30 over 14 threads)...

A Japanese Bronze mirror of circular form decorated with Chrysanthemum Sprays a pair of Cranes, Tsuru, in flight, a circular ring and a central Turtle, Kame, shaped boss. Probably late Kamakura or Nambokucho in date, first half of the fourteenth century. The mirror measures approximately 11.45cm in diameter, and 0.76cm high at the rim, and the edge measures 5.1mm in width, and weighs 273 grams. Featuring a baluster shaped body rising from a slightly splayed foot, tapering to its shoulders onto a long waisted neck with a petalled mouth. Its body is adorned with carved and combed floral patterns and is covered overall in a green-white ‘Qingbai’ glaze stopping short above its foot...

Yuan qingbai cup with floral scroll decoration on the body, unglazed concave base. Measure W=6.5 cm, H=3.5 cm Yuan Dynasty Condition : perpect, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration.

Description:

A pair of Jianyang hare-furs tea bowls was well mold in fine shape.
In evert mouth rim, the bowls were stand by circular foot rings.
Characteristic abrasion was found at the foot ring where the body clay was covered with burial adhesives.
Incursions were also found on the mouth rim.
They were in lovely sizes- very hard to find on the market, but ideally for tea ceremony.

Mexican Pre Columbian Tlatilco Terracotta pregnant female body . Unique female fragment from an early culture c 1200bc-600bc. Tlatilco is noted in particular for its high quality pottery pieces, many featuring Olmec iconography. Tlatilco figures were known for their elaborate hair styles. Size 2.5 " by 2.25"

Description: A lovely dog was carved vividly in a crouching way. Lying as is in sleeping, the dog's ribs were obvious by the carver's observation.The sandstone's quality was strong and the color was in grayish white and amid with black dots. Date was judged by the overall erosions and the characteristic style of the subject. Date: Song period(12th century), Width: 12cm , Height: 9.5cm.

Description:

An ancient stone beast was in nice mood.
In twisted body posture, the beast or dragon with bulging eyes, wide mouth and extruding fangs was supposed a peaceful animal by the pattern on his back, a swirling TaiChi cloud.
The sculpture was well preserved except the abrasions down under due to age.

Date: Song/Yuan Periods, 12th/13th Century.

An antique blue ceramic Vietnamese cosmetic box. The lid has a raised image of a dragon with geometric images on the sides. Found in a ship wreck from the Hoi An Hoard ship with a numbered label. Provenance: Prominent Private Collection from San Diego, CA
