An ancient Canaanite bronze dagger blade from the Holy Land area dates back to the Bronze Age, circa 1500-1200 B.C. This blade dates back to the time of Moses. The blade is double-edged, tapering, and has a medial ridge. It was cast, hand-forged, and has a short tang for attaching a handle.

A lovely ancient Egyptian Scarab, c. 1070 or older, from the famous Mitry collection (see our Homepage). It is 9/16” long (14 mm) and made of faience. Scarabs empowered life and resurrection and were often placed under mummy wrappings to protect the body and to help it resurrect. Pictured on the bottom are images of vulture goddess Mut, and an Ankh. This Scarab comes in a jewelry display cup.

Intriguing Daunian kyathos featuring an incurving shallow bowl and a handle that widens towards the top to form stylized horns, a tiny animal head inserted in between.
The cream-hued surface shows a delicate linear decoration, both on the handle and on the outside of the bowl.

This is a fantastic, ancient bronze spear or dagger attribute to the Marlik Culture circa 1200-900 BCE. It has a beautiful leaf-shaped blade with strong midrib. The tang has the classic 90 degree bend with knob on the end still intact. It measures nearly 25 cm in length and weighs 192 grams. It has a fantastic and lively patina. The metal is strong and stable. There are no signs of repair or restoration. This piece is from the collection of the late John Piscopo.
