A pair of Chinese porcelain bowls decorated with peonies. The bowl contains a short poetic inscription which generally states: As if (one is) cherishing the beautiful, likewise at the moment (the flowers) are displaying its colors. The bottom of the bowl contains a mark reading, Yongzheng Nianxing. Age: Republic Period. Size: diameter: 4.3" height 2"

Antique Japanese large bronze suiban, or shallow dish for the display of viewing stones and small plants. The legs have been wonderfully casted to resemble gnarled vines, or perhaps a Buddha's hand citron fruit. One side of the suiban displays a raised dragon flying through incised winds. The other side shows two lounging tigers...
A bronze crane in dark almond colored patina of superb craftsmanship dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (Meiji period). It is quite large at 48.5 cm tall (19 inches) and is in excellent condition.

An dramatic pair of large Japanese golden gilt lotus flowers. Gold gilt in excellent original condition over hand carved wooden lotus flowers. Originally these would have been exhibited at a large temple. Rare to find such a large pair. Typically when found these are much smaller. Each is mounted to a matching base.

Chinese Jadeite Baluster Vase and Cover Republic Period
Of flattened baluster form, deeply undercut as emerging within flowering prunus branches that also support a bird on each side and on the reticulated finial of the conforming cover; the pale green matrix marked with straw colored inclusions and the russet patches utilized for the flowering branches.
This vase was property from the Portland Art Museum, Portland, Oregon, sold to benefit the Museum Acquisition Fund...
