A late Ming Longquan celadon charger, decorated with a freely carved peony spray and a diaper-patterned cavetto. The glaze is a deep glassy green.

Chargers such as this are amongst the last produced at Longquan...

A Long Quan Celadon bowl Ming Dynasty. Diameter approximately 14.5 cm, height 7 cm. Covered with even green tone and crackle glaze. Center with floral carved, the exterior freely carved with stylised foliate scrolls. Few small glazes lost on the rim. Good condition.

Ming Dynasty, Swatow ware porcelain dish covered with a pale grey glaze and with overglaze enamel Arabic inscriptions. Diameter : 19,7 cm. Condition : Broken into 2 parts and rather successfuly re-glued because the crack is inconspicuously and there is still a nice sound when tapped.

A excellent potted shape, a excellent glaze and Cobalt blue, a excellent execution of the decoration - this dish is definitely done in an Imperial quality. Ming Chenghua mark but Qing Dynasty, probably of the Kangxi Period ( 1662 - 1722 ) There are also Daoguang dishes with a quite similar Dragon design but if this piece would be a Daoguang dish it most probably would bear a Daoguang mark. Kangxi pieces often are marked with a Ming Quenghua mark - thus the Chenghua Mark on this dish together ...

This pair of Chinese late Ming Dynasty (1368~1644) blue and white vases (Mei Ping) are 10 ¼” high and 5” on the widest part. Aside from some dark spots and blisters due to firing, they are in excellent condition.

A rare Ming dynasty 17th century Dehua Blanc De Chine large censer with lion mask motif, rounded side with two eras covered with white glaze, good condition no damage no chip no crack no restoration, size: 15 cm diameter.

A rare late Ming Jiajing Wanli blue and white bowl, rounded side with deep center and glazed base, bowl decorated with under glaze blue of triagram motif at exterior, base with four Chinese character mark.
Bowl is in good condition, no crack, no chip, no restoration.
Size: 12.5 cm diameter.

In terms of design and artistic execution, this beautiful Longquan celadon charger is solidly early Ming; its barbed rim, decorated cavetto, incised decorations, and fluted panel to central field are all very typical of late 14th / early 15th century ...

Blanc de Chine figure of Guanyin, seated with a tranquil expression and her hands concealed beneath her flowing robes,on a rockwork base. C17thc. Ht.5 1/4", (13.3cm). Condition; no damage or restoration.

Wonderful porcelain jar, decorated in blue and white. Typical wanli pattern of swastikas on the shoulder, the rest of the jar decorated with gardens and two flying cranes, China, Wanli (1573-1620). Condition: two hairline cracks on the mouth rim, one of them with an almost invisible related crack on the shoulder. Dimensions: H. 17,5 cm, Diameter 17 cm.

15th-16th century sancai glaze kendi decorated with Dragon motive at the shoulder. With Mark at the base.14cm high.Good conditions with only view small chipped at the rim on restoretions.

A large 1690s Kangxi blue and white “pheasants” plate, decorated in a shade of intense blue found only in select Kangxi blue and white wares, and covered with extremely fine luminous glaze...

Ming blue and white large dish decorated with fine under glaze blue of scenery river boat mountains pagoda and house motif at the center, inner rim with nine white stork at the pond, outer wall with three squirrels in the three branches of fruit trees. 34,5cm diameter. Dish has fourhairlines at the rim and fritting glaze at the rim. Free from restorations.

The design of this mirror has not entirely escaped the conventions of earlier Kagami-e (Long handled Mirrors) of the late Muromachi –Momoyama era, which are essentially mirrors of conventional round form retaining a central boss to which a handle has been attached. In this example the Cranes are arranged directly opposite each other, their beaks meeting with that of the kame, to create a T form; a convention that appears in the late 16th century...

A Ming dynasty 16 - 17th century blue ground large ewer with cover, good condition size: 22 cm height.

This Chinese Ming Dynasty (1368~1615) bronze temple guardian is 13 ½ inches tall. The halo is a replacement and part of the mirror in his hand has been repaired. The weapon he carried is gone. Over all, it is in pretty good condition.

Inrô with four lacquer compartments representing eagles: eight on one side, seven on the other, one on the upper side called ten; sometimes posed on a rocky promontory in takamaki-e and kirigane lacquer, sometimes in flight near the sea. Bamboo branches. Bottom in fundame and hiramaki-e lacquer. Interior in nashi-ji lacquer. The eagle motif is relatively rare in Japanese iconography.
