Beautiful women’s apron style skirt from the Bahnar (Ba Na) ethnic group, Central Highlands of Vietnam. Woven from fine handspun cotton using all indigo and natural dyes. This dish is decorated in underglaze cobalt blue with a design of three men playing a game of “go.” It was recovered from a shipwreck site in the Southern Philippines off the coast of Mindanao. A rare Chinese Sancai ewer from the Tang Dynasty (618-907), featuring a rounded shape with a dual strap handle and spout.

The ewer is adorned with a variegated sancai glaze, displaying hues of amber and green set against a cream background. It stands at a height of 9.5 cm and spans 15 cm in width.

The overall condition is excellent, with only a minor glaze chip observed at the bottom edge of the spout.

Japanese Edo period round-form bronze kagami (mirror) decorated in high relief with a finely detailed motif of crane and its young among pines. The perforated boss in the center, which holds a tassel, is in the form of a minogame (tortoise). There is an inscription at one side (see enlargement 6).
