The key with enforced bit with slots, decorated hollow stem with fluted collar and an oval bow.

Condition: Very fine with interesting cuphrite surfaces from coppering, some light bend.

A Tang dynasty Changsha bowl, rounded side with deep center and unglazed base, bowl decorated with brown color , bowl covered with creamy glazed PERIOD : Tang Dynasty (618-906 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 5.5 cm tall, 15 cm wide. CONDITION: no chips, cracks, or hairlines and free from restorations.
A very nice early carving and highly unusual!
Buddha is depicted as a crowned king seated on his double Lotus Throne held by a dragon below and with a great flaming halo behind, carved with dragons.
The carving can be dated to the late Ming-early Qing dynasty, c. 17th. century.

Condition: Nice Very fine. even wear and drying of the wood chips and degradation of the paint, but with much of the original laquer and paint still preserved...
Brown-glazed Apulian plate with gently raised, shallow floor. The low sloping rim with a flat top.
Standing on a low ring foot. Faint traces of fingertips around the foot where held when dipped into the glaze medium. Covered with a red-brown glaze.

A nice group of Ming miniature glazed food tomb items for taking into the next world. During the Shang Dynasty all the actual pieces were used and have been replaced with pottery figures from the original size to this size.

A stunning Chinese porcelain Dayazhai-type jar grisaille painted with yellow ground. The monochromatic imagery of black and grey peonies against a yellow enamel ground scrolls around the body under a band of ruyi heads below a band of key-fret. With descriptive tag on the base "From the Hall of Embodied Harmony". There is also a Museum Porcelain Exhibition tag. The tag has some losses but shows that the Exhibition was in the 1960's - item #238...
