Very unusual 19th century Japanese multimetal pendant in a shape of standing geisha holding an umbrella. Broad redware dish rim fragment depicting a very fine and detailed shrub with berries. The relief decoration was taken from a separate mold and applied to the almost flat rim.
The fragment belongs to the rim of a large dish with a calculated diameter of ca. 39 cm (15.4 in). A groove runs along the outer edge.
