Two Beautiful late 19th to early 20th C. Signed Chinese porcelain snuff bottles. Charming detail, animated. One with colorful figures against green-colored ground, other is with nine lions playing a ball. Both are handcrafted but both without top. Both in excellent condition. Dimensions: H: 2-1/3".

A Song/Yuan Celadon Ewer. Height approximately 9 cm and length approximately 10 cm (the tipspout to the handle). The ewer has a small rim chip , a firing crack inside and a slightly different color tone. Good condition.

A Ming dynasty longquan celadon large bowl with carved flower motif at inner and outer wall, good condition no damage, small firing crack on the rim small fritts at the foot ring please see picture for detail, size: 17 cm diameter.

Antique famille rose brush pot, made of Chinese porcelain and decorated with two perched quails, surrounded by flowers in hues of purple, pink, yellow, orange, and blue. The bottom of the vase has a Jian Ding seal that reads "Shende Tang Zhi", meaning "Made for the Hall of Prudent Virtue" (1831-1850). 19th century Size: 4.75" tall, 3" diameter

Chinese snuff bottle made of gorgeous agate with lovely orange areas on its front, carved into a trotting horse, its head held high as it passes through rocky terrain. Its stopper is made from orange agate with white and yellow ribbons. Size: 3" height, 2.25" width

A large dish with upturned rim of shakuzara size (10 sun or 30cm in diameter) decorated with an unusually geometric pattern based upon an eight pointed star, hachibosei, with a central roundel reserve containing a Peony painted in a gilt outlined technique typical of the late mid Edo period. Framed by eight further triangular brocade blocks, four with a y diaper iron red ground with chrysanthemum mon, and four with a diaper ground with purple and green enamels...

A large, heavy and very finely cast bronze censer (incense burner) with good old patination. The base carries the six-character reign mark of the Xuande emperor but this item was made later during the 17th or 18th Century. Condition - excellent. A porcelain box and cover of circular form, the slightly domed cover mould stamped and sculpted with a spray of flowers within a foliate rim, with an pale blue (Qingbai) glaze. Southern Song Dynasty. A rare, finely decorated, late Ming twin-handled bronze vase which still retains traces its original gilding. The vase carries the six character reign mark of the Xuande emperor (1426-1435) but this item was made later during the 16th or early 17th Century - possibly during the reign of the Wanli emperor (1573-1619). A pair of very nice old lotus shoes with quilted vamp, delicate stitching, and floral embroidery. 19th C/20th C. In excellent condition. The shoes have never been worn before and even are still stitched together.

A refined image of the deity Amitayus, known as the Buddha of infinite light in many pureland texts including the Sukhavativyuha Sutra. The central Amitayus image is surrounded by nearly a hundred or so other Amitayus images reflecting a concept found in Vajrayana and Mahayana texts of how a Buddha or Bodhisattva can be found in many locations simultaneously. The thangka contains a blessing with hand imprints and a mantra in the Bru-sha script to invoke the deity...

A finely potted deep dish, or shallow bowl, well painted in underglaze blue depicting three sinuous Chilong dragons amongst clouds and Lingzhi fungus. This item was made in the early 18th Century during the reign of the Yongzheng emperor (1723-1735). Condition - very good - there is one small shallow under rim chip (please view enlargements 3 & 5), no further damages and no restoration...
