Chinese carved jadite pitcher with dragon handle and loose ring under spout, very thinly carved of a beautiful translucent pale green color jadite, scrolling motif along the edge, each side is carved with a dragon in low relief, Republic Period. Size: 5" long

Jade carving of a bat spreading its wings on one side and on another side a coin shaped motif. Bats are considered to be an auspicious animal where the name is synonymous to fortune in Chinese. The coin contains a four character engraving possibly reading: Fu Shou Quan Shuang, or roughly translated as having both fortune and longevity. A etremely rare Kanton enamelled gilt-copper European-subject snuff bottle. Qianlong mark and period ( 1736 - 1795 ). Provenance : From an old Austian Family collection, in the past sold at the famous Austrian Auction house Dorotheum and according to Dorotheum`s expert Mrs. Dr. Jorinde Ebert this rare piece at least was for the past 150 years in this family collection. A superbly carved yellow soapstone seal in the form of a boulder. The legend on the base seems to read: Hua pa chou shang yin, or "Huapa (Flowery Loquat) seal of congratulation". On one side is a design of archaic dragons sporting around a traditional emblem of wealth, the copper cash with a square hole. Three inscriptions are carved on the faces of the boulder, much as ancient inscriptions were carved on suitable rock faces in the mountains...

A Chinese nephrite pendant in shape of a qilong. The stone of greyish white tone with dark grey flecks and streaks. Qing Dynasty. The pendant is in excellent condition. Dimensions: 2-3/16" X 3/4". Wood stand is not included.

Nice and elegant shape, rounded side with slight flared lip rim to outside, covered overall with black glaze above unglazed foot rim. Yuan dynasty 13th/14th century, possibly from Fujian province. Perfect condition. Diameter: 11 cm.

An 18th century antique wine glass, English lead, with a flared bell bowl, plain stem, rough snapped pontil, and folded foot. Simple, but with elegant form, this glass is 6 5/16 inches tall, 2 15/16 inch bowl diameter, 3 1/8 inch foot diameter.

This carved reticulate nephrite is 6 ½ inches long, 2 ½ inches wide and a quarter of an inch thick. It has a traditional Chinese motif which includes a dragon, flowers, a vine and characters. The meaning of these four characters is ¡°celebrating happy events and long life¡±. The workmanship is just wonderful. It was carved in two layers which makes it even more interesting. There are a few small chips on the sides. It is in good condition.

A very rare, finely modelled, bronze figure of the Ancient Egyptian cat goddess, Bast, with later, crudely carved, early 20th Century soft wood stand. This item was made in Egypt during the Late Dynastic Period (664-332 BC). Condition: Very good - there is oxidation loss to the left side between the fore and hind leg; no further losses and no repairs. Height (without stand): 6.6cm (2.6 inches). Height (with stand): 10.8cm (4.25 inches).

This is a spectacular and huge English wine glass with a vermicular collar. The bell bowl is finely engraved with a band of fruiting vines below the rim. The stem is a multiple-spiral air twist (MSAT) with a nicely fashioned central vermicular collar. The conical foot has a rough, snapped pontil.

The glass stands 8 1/2" tall, an amazing and rare size for this form. The bowl diameter is 3 5/8" and the foot diameter is 3 11/16"...

19th century nephrite carving of a bearded Zhong-Kui (ghost eater). His right hand is holding a fan; his left hand is raised up holding his hat. Under his left foot is a demon begging for his life. According to Chinese custom, the ghost eater will protect a family from evil spirits. This is a very nice carving in good condition. H: 5 inches, W: 3 inches, D: 1 ¾ inches

This stoneware dish is shaped in the form of an oval tray with straight walls, raised on four molded feet. It is glazed overall with a semi-transparent brownish-amber glaze with areas of faint purples and reds. An unglazed area in the center of the base is brush painted with six Chinese characters in iron slip glaze. Some kiln cracking is present on one end and the typical wear for an item of this age and use is evident on the feet and areas of the glaze...
