19th century metal ojime (slide bead for tightening the cord going from netsuke to inro) in ball shape with pierced decoration of continuous open cherry flowers. Superb design, full liner to the central hole, bronze (may be tarnished silver) with beautifully worn gilding, excellent patina, wonderful feel of age. Height 13/16 inches.
The sculpture is of excellent quality. The Kouanyin is represented seated in a position of royal relaxation. Very heavy wood is covered with several coats of paint. The details are finely incised but are almost all covered by the paintings. The hand was made apart. The expression of the face is calm, attentive and benevolent. The movement of the fabrics is elegant.Traces of textiles.Yuan style but I am not able to certify the authenticity because there are so many copies...
Octagon sided marble top table with an oriental style to the base. This is a simple but beautiful table, measuring 29" tall x 27" in diameter. The marble has two small chips, both in corners, and both not noticeable unless you look very closely. It is in very good condition for its age, which is late 1800s.

Antique 19th century Chinese Qing Dynasty extremely well carved ornate gilt wood figure of a laughing Buddha – Budai.
This seated deity wears a loose robe parted in front, revealing his large, protruding belly. His left hand resting on a raised knee, grasping a peach fruit string his right hand is holding the string of a cloth bag at his side.

This is an antique, Early 20th C., finely hand carved Japanese netsuke, made by Yukimasa (Tadami Uno), depicting a seldom seem version of a Fukura Suzuma or 'Tongue-cut Sparrow', with an elderly woman seated on the right wing of the bird, holding very tight to its neck, while carrying a pair of scissors on her right hand.
