This very fine Late 18th Century Ningyo was made for the Daimyo Class. These rare pieces are highly regarded in Japan. This is an unusually large Musha- Ningyo of the hero Kato Kiyomasa, who accompanied Hideyoshi on his campaign against Korea. He was famous for his bravery. He has a great face of carved wood and finely burnished Gofun, and is dressed in the sumptuous textiles of a rich green velvet coat with gold dragons...

A Qianlong mark and period dish, glazed in creamy celadon and scallop-edged...

A porcelain bowl painted with over glaze "famille rose" enamels depicting a flowering peony shrub issuing from a stylized blue rock. This item was made in China for export to Europe during the second quarter of the 18th Century. Condition: very good - there is a 1.7cm chip to the inside of the footrim; no other damages and no restoration. 14cm (5.5 inches) diameter; 6.5cm (2.6 inches) high.

Late Edo Period Musha Ningyo of Minamoto no Yoshitsune. This wonderful example of high quality has an extraordinary presence, sumptuous brocades, gold lacquered armor, a spectacular helmet, and many other fine details. His face is gorgeously and masterfully carved with finely burnished gofun. Figure height: 20 inches (51cm), with arrows: 25 inches (63.5 cm). Excellent Condition.

A fine 18th century Chinese molded celadon-glazed porcelain dish, finely decorated around the center with stylized archaistic dragons encircling a central roundel of a lotus flower, a band of key-fret pattern around the foliated rim, covered overall in green glazed. Qianlong period (1736 - 1795). 29 cm diameter.Perfect condition, no chips, no cracks, no hairlines and no repairs.

The Japanese samurai dolls are part of the display used for Boy’s Day on every 5th of May in Japan. The dolls are the figures of historical heroes or legendary people to inspire the boys in the family (probably husbands are also included today) in their manliness and hopefully discipline and bravery to go with them. Samurai’s Yoroi armor, Kabuto helmet with swords, bow with arrows are popular items chosen today for the day.

A extremely rare Jingdezhen ware Ming Hongzhi Period ( 1488 - 1505 ) porcelain dish, glazed with a pale bluish - white glaze over a incised Chrysanthemum decoration. Normally the same type of decoration we know from large Ming blue and white dishes - the same decor incised is very rare to find. Diameter : 25 cm. Condition : There is just one very fine and short hairline near the base( shown on the last image ) otherwise the dish is in an excellent condition.

A Yuan ( 13th century ) blue and white ewer with indonesian solid gold mounts. Extremely nice cobalt blue. This is the real so called " Mohamedan Blue " or " Ahmadan Blue " ! This rare piece shows a really amazing, extraordinary nice blue ! H : 6 inc. It might be the best blue and white piece, ever seen at Trocadero until now !

Japanese Meiji Period Musha Ningyo (Boys' Day Doll) depicting the legendary Emperor Ojin, seated in court attire and wearing dramatic cream brocades and lacquered armor, a fan in his right hand and wearing a classic gold eboshi cap. His face is finely carved with a regal expression. A rare and fine example. 18.5h x 20w inches, 47h x 51w cm.

A Very Rare and Fine Silver Inlaid Iron Incense Burner: Korea, early 20th century. Of hexagonal section mounted on raised bracket feet, the six faces of the body curved and the upright,, flat mouth, also hexagonal, inlaid in silver wire on the sides with auspicious plant, deer, crane medallions within key fret and diaper-work borders, on the legs with flower scroll, the body of the censer secured to the bracket support- plinth by an iron joint...

A Song/Yuan Celadon Crackle Dish. Diameter approximately 13 cm and height approximately 3.5 cm. Designed with twin fish at the center and covered with bluish green tone color. There is a slightly different color tone at the behind of the dish. Good condition.

A Very Fine and Rare Bronze Bowl/Cover with a Beautiful Patina. Korea, Koryo dynasty (11th – 14th century. The deep bowl with thinly cast, sloping steep sides and sharply tapering to a raised, mounted on a splayed raised ring foot, with overall covered with a beautiful blackish olive green patina including the cover and with a lotus bud shaped knob. It’s in very fine condition without any damages. Measurments: 15.2cm x 15cm h.

A very rare tall Dehua, Blanc de Chine, figure of the Madonna and Christ Child, Sancta Maria, such figures are extremely rare and this version with the Buddhist Lion base is probably the rarest and most desirable. For an identical figure see the British Museum collection, formerly part of the Patrick Donnelly Collection. The figure stands approximately 38 cm high. Dating late Kangxi period, 1690-1720...
