Well-potted brushpot with a very carefully painted dragon and fish design in a deep sepia-toned enamel that is slightly raised on the biscuit-fired background. Like the exterior, the interior is also unglazed. The base is slightly recessed and marked with a spurious six-character Xuande mark. This piece most likely dates to the Guangxu period, 1875-1908. Very good condition with no damages or restorations...

A Very Rare Pale white Nephrite Jade Carved Finial: China, Ming Period or Older. This is an almost transparent pale white nephrite jade with red-brown russet on around phoenix long neck final or top decoration on a wooden or ivory staff for ritual ceremony or other events. There are a total of 5 different dragon, mythical birds and elephant head depicted on this final end...

Circa 1680, this is one of the earliest examples of a Kakiemon sake bottle, rectangular in shape, 10.625" in height. Decorated in iron-red, yellow, green, aubergine, and black enamel, the four sides portray pine, bamboo, plum blossoms and peonies among clouds, with sprays of stylized lotus and scrolling karasuka upon the shoulders.

Condition: Early gold lacquer repair and cracks.

A large blue and white bowl from the Ming Jiajing period. Jingdezhen ware, 1522 - 1566 Diameter : 20,1 cm. H : 9,1 cm. Condition : cracked and a small restored chip to the base.

Tang Changsha large bowl from Belitung shipwreck. Bowl in good condition with some glaze degradations at the rim, free from any restoration. Size: 20 cm diameter.

A pair of Japanese lacquered iron abumi (stirrups) decorated in gold lacquer on a roiro ground with Ni-o, also known as Kongo Rikishi with delicate scrolling background, the interior in red lacquer. Edo period (probably 17th century). 11 1/8" high, 4 3/4" wide, 12" long.

Large Japanese antique processional temple cart, base made of keyaki (elm) wood with copper hardware, drum is also made of keyaki wood with a large brass rooster on top, wonderful condition (wheels roll!), lovely carving and lacquer detail, unusual and striking! Meiji/ Taisho Period (early 20th century). Size: 90" high x 69" long x 42 1/2" deep.

This is a fine 18th century 5.75 inch Nabeshima footed dish with blue underglaze, decorated with two enameled peaches and leaves. There are two old gold lacquer repairs to the rim.

A good bronze bombe form censer with rare figural decoration. The base carries the six character mark of the Ming Xuande Emperor but this item was made much later during either the late 18th or early 19th Centuries (c1790 - 1850). Condition - very good...
