A Japanese Arita porcelain Kakiemon style dish, circa 1720~1750 The square dish with indented corners, the rim with a deep kuchibeni brown rim, the centre with a gobenka motif. The cavetto is decorated with flowers and grasses amongst rocks. Tiny touches of coloured enamels have been applied to the design, a style first seen in the early 18th century. Within the foot-rim can be found a six-character imitation of a Chinese Ming Chenghua reign mark ‘Daimin Seika Nensei’...

A rare Han jade carving of a mythical beast that is part dragon, lion with the head of a dragon and the body of a lion. These jades a very rare. Condition: very good. no breaks. Size: See last photo.

A beautiful vibrant blue glass earring. Most likely from Cambodia or Vietnam. Age: 300BC to 100BC. Can be used as pendant Size: Outer diameter 3.5cm. Condition: Perfect.

An nice larger mirror in bronze, Islamic, 10th.-12th. century AD.

The islamic bronze mirrors were typically made in the Chinese style of the Han Period with added islamic elements. This mirror is large and with a recessed face and undecorated back. Small loss to the handle.

Condition: Choice, fine smooth water-green patina. Old Collection tag on the reverse.

A rare and very interesting Pre-Columbian pottery vessel, Peru and most likely Moche(?), mid 1st. millenium AD.

Interesting vessel made in pottery to look like na waterskin or skin for alcoholic beverages. In redish glazed pottery.

A rare piece that was part of the inventory of a Danish Antiques dealer, his price still in the bottom - ca. $800!.

A set of six silver bowls, the center with raised omphalos. Below an acanthus bordure decorated with a band of Arabic calligraphy. No mark, but silver tested. Condition: due to the high silver content the bowls are quite soft and some are slightly distorted. Three bowls with few dents. Dimension: diameter: 10.6 cm, 5.1 cm high, total weight: 476 g.

Unusual Japanese wood carving of a figure, appearing to be a foreign man, who wields an axe head. The figure is seated, kneeling upon a jagged throne. The patina of the carving shows remnants of old lacquer.

Japanese small porcelain blue and white water dropper, of a rectangular form with four very short legs. The top of the piece features lingzhi, lotus, and tight scrolling motifs with floral medallions over waves on its sides.

Antique Korean blue and white water dropper in the shape of a fan. The top surface design is of a blossoming cherry branch with fan outline in cobalt underglaze, while the foot is left bare.

Antique Japanese large 2-panel screen, depicting two large paintings of swimming carp and reeds in sumi ink. Gold leaf and silk borders each panel.

A charming cup with grapes and a squirrel, a Chinese longevity motif, the squirrel maybe rather to be defined as a tree shrew. Early Qianlong, c 1750. Height "2½/ 6,3 cm. Condition: cracks and rim frits (cf. pics)

Elegantly decorated vase with a geometric design of 24 facets. Meiji period, late 19th century. Sparsely painted with airy flower sprigs, leaving large parts of the cream-coloured crackle-glazed surface undecorated. The mouth rim with the mon (emblem) of the Itagaki (?) family. Impressed three character mark to the base and painted signature in red. Height "6¼ / 16 cm. Condition: fine.

Antique Japanese Buddhist Temple lantern made of gilt copper with a wooden interior armature and iron handle. This six sided lantern is decorated all over with ornate pierced karakusa, scrolling arabesque filigree. Both top and bottom of the lantern have six trapezoidal friezes, each with a three dimensional medallion in it's center depicting alternating crests of blossoms and Buddhist symbols. The interior is lined with it's original paper...
