Instead of shoes, sandals such as these were worn in villages throughout India. Hand carved from indigenous woods, frequently teak and fitted to the individual wearer. The knob on the toe prevented the sandals from falling off and no other attachment was used.

19th Century Persian Mughal Kard Jade with Silver Inlay Handle Dagger with Gilt Inscription at the Blade

The overall measurement is 10.6 inches (26.9 cm) long by 1.25 inches (3.2 cm) wide. The blade is 6.3 inches (16 cm) long by 0.75 inch (1.9 cm) wide. It is 0.2 Lb.

The jade handle has chips. The blade is tarnished and has small dents and oxidation. It also has loss of gilding, oxidation, and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos)...

A beautiful authentic Western Han pottery cocoon jar in the shape of a silkworm cocoon. Rare 5th Century Korean Gaya Water Jar of Classic Form, Color, and Design. The decoration is incised into the clay between the carved bands before firing. Gaya was a confederation of small states independent from and influential on the the Silla Kingdom and its pottery, until Silla annexed Gaya in the 6th Century. The long neck keeps water from sloshing out while the jar is being carried. Height: 10 inches, 25.5 cm.

This is a remarkably well preserved black pottery vessel from the early Khmer culture. It dates to at least 600AD and is possibly much older. It is roughly 19 cm tall. It shows no signs of repair or restoration. There are traces of root fibers on parts of the surface and what looks like calcification on the surface of the base. This is a great opportunity to own a rare piece of Ancient Asia at a terrific price.

Japanese large Wood square Hibachi with original Copper Lining, 7" high-outside and 5 1/2" inside, 17 1/2" square-outside and 16 1/2" square top rim, 11 1/2" square inside copper lining, with cut out handle on both side, original blue cotton fabric on the bottom. The beautiful bold looking grain of wood is noticeable and all original condition, no major damage except old copper lining is somewhat stained.
