Antique Japanese single section tansu with a lacquered keyaki front and top, black lacquered sides and front frame. It has round iron lockplates, decorated with a large kiri leaf, warabite handles, and a side lockbox.

This is a finely potted butterfly bowl dated to the Qing dynasty - Tongzhi period.It thas a yellow background surrounded with butterflies with brown, pastel blue and yellow colour.
Condition:
It is in good condition with no repair restoration, chip or glaze crazing. Only manufacturing imperfection and rubbing on the rim which can be seen in the photos.

An antique Japanese large Kyoto Mizuya Tansu (kitchen chest) in 2 sections that was made of Hinoki (Cypress), Kakinoki (Persimmon) and Suginoki (Cryptomeria) woods. The center drawers have a very unique design made by the decorative Persimmon accents making each one look like a gift box. All sliding doors have Persimmon runners used to smooth out the slide and help prevent wear at the bottom.
Japanese joinery is evident throughout the piece making use of the mortise and tenon technique...
A beautiful blue glazed porcelain dish with foliate rim and four characters Chenghua mark. Late 17th Century. The dish is in perfect condition with some kiln faults on outside of the foot rim, and expected wear for its age. Please study the photos carefully to inspect the condition. 19th Century Chinese Natural large carved Rock Crystal Guan Yin figure, Ca. mid 1800's, 9 1/2" high, 3 1/2" wide-widest part, 2 1/4" thick, carved out of one large Rock Crystal, almost clear and good quality, well polished without infusions on her face, hands and feet. Only rough area with some infusions are on the upper head in the back which is not well polished, shows darker brown tiny spots in the stone...
A small but highly detailed Satsuma vase decorated with Sino-Japanese motifs. On one side of the vase is literati scholars enjoying a conversation bordered with a detailed geometric pattern. An early to mid 19th century turned yew (or fruit) wood covered gaming cup with 9 hand carved and painted bone die c1820-50. The box retains some of its original red stain and it measures 2-1/8" tall and 1-1/4" across the top. The dice are also 19th century vintage, and measure 3/8" (largest), 5/16" (medium) and the remaining seven are 1/4" across...
Rather unusual late Qing Dynasty (1890s to 1911) Chinese seal carved out of a natural boulder. The stone is of military green color, softer than jade and appears to be magmatic in nature - see the folds of its outside produced by cooling of the rock. The impression of the seal is shown on the third photo which is flipped left to right to present the image as it will print on paper...
Rare Korean stoneware vase from the Silla period, 5th or 6th century. Undulating decoration incised with a comb and pierced with typical triangles. The upper part is covered with an ash glass. A similar but smaller and unglazed model is housed at the Minneapolis Institute.

A handsome three-piece gilt bronze desk set by Marshall Field comprising a letter rack, pen wipe and pen tray. Each piece is decorated with intertwined stylized dragons against a ribbed background with a beaded border. The workmanship is very fine. Marshall Field was an active producer of very high-quality metalwares during the Arts & Crafts period. The bottom of the letter rack is marked “Made by Marshall Field & Co. 2 29”. The bottom of the pen tray is marked “MF & Co VIKING”...
A circular qingbai porcelain box of compressed drum shape with neatly lobed sides and a slightly concave base. The domed cover has a concave top, which is mould-impressed with small chrysanthemum flowers. Both the exterior and interior of the box and cover are coated in a thin, translucent bluish-white glaze, leaving the rims and base unglazed, exposing the sugary white body, which has some brown and black firing marks...
Burmese carved and painted marble head of Buddha, beautiful serene expression, exquisitely subtle details for example the carved arching brows and slightly smiling mouth, black hair with traces of gold, 18th century. Comes with black metal stand. Age: 17th-18th century.

Indian statue of a jain buddha seated in meditation with hands and feet crossed carved out of white marble. The base has a weathered donatory inscription with a horned bull or possibly a rhino in the middle. If a rhinocerous, the statue would be of Mahavira in the 11th reincarnation. Traces of red pigment. The nose was broken during the muslim invasions of India sometime between the 13th and 16th centuries. From the Mt. Abu region, 15th-16th century. It measures 13"deep, 26" wide 30" tall.
An antique Japanese Buddhist family altar called Butsudan in 2 sections. All lacquer finish with gilt lacquer interior. Exterior doors open to inner sanctum doors. Upper transom was hand carved with religious figures meditating in a wooded forest. The altar features a centerpiece dragon with 3 flying Phoenix birds above each compartment. Hanging ornaments on each side...

This vase, of a pale amethyst tone, was hand-blown with slightly fluted vertical segments from top to bottom. It is decorated in colored enamels that are lightly raised and enhanced by gold enamel, now somewhat worn. It is in good condition.
