Young woman's katabira (unlined kimono made of asa, hemp or ramie) with long sleeves. It is made of Echigo-chijimi, which was woven in Echigo region, now Niigata prefecture. It is handwoven of choma (ramie) whose wefts and warps are hand-plied, and the surface has light shrinkage from twisted warps and wefts. It has hand-painted flower motifs. It is 10.23 inches (26 cm) tall by 10.63 inches (27 cm) in length. It is 1.85 lb.

Japanese Shibayama Mother of Pearl Lacquer Box Signed Masamitsu 政光, Meiji Period (1868-1912)

It is 2.48 inches (6.3 cm) tall by 6.2 inches (15.7 cm) in length by 4.9 inches (12.5 cm) wide. It is 0.8 Lb.
