A Ming Dynasty dish with Ivory-white glaze, Fujian wares possibly Zhangzhou 16th-17th century. condition is good except a tiny chip to rim, otherwise is perfect. Found at South Sulawesi. Diameter: 28,5 cm.
A nice stout wine jug with two handles at the wide shoulders. The two handles have deliberate cuts at the tops, probably to tie rope for securing the stopper. The brownish black glaze covers the jar to about 2.5 cm from the bottom.

Condition: A couple of tiny glaze chips at the mouth's rim. The glaze is not degraded and still has a nice gloss.
An excellent example of an uncommon form, a Lowestoft hand painted butter boat, showing two houses on an island and with a lattice border on the leaf-shaped piece, and with an angular stalk handle. Retains the label of Rod Jellicoe, a well-known dealer in English porcelain.
