A set of Khmer brown glazed pottery lime-pot in the form of owl with a stepped, moulded beak, eyes and tail.
This kind of lime-pot was mainly used in Khmer people's daily life in the ancient time, as can be seen on the stone sculpture on the wall of Bayon and
Angkor Vat Prasart (Temple).

Good, first half of the 20th century hardwood hand carved bowl carved in the shape of a turtle. I acquired this from Mossgreen's Auctions, Australia about 20 years ago, they attributed it to being 100 years old. Please note the two legs in the back are damaged and is noted in last enlargement. Exquisite antique silver necklace, circa 19th century. Each tiny bead is hand folded into a geometrical shape, some of them still have traces of gold wash I doubt if this kind of craftsmanship can be done today. The hexagonal pendant opens up into a “secret” lime box, and the clam shell bead is actually a bell. Included is an ancient excavated garnet bead. Total Length: 87cm/34.3in. A socketed bronze Javelin, Eastern Caspian Sea region, dating to 1st mill BC.
A fine late socketed Javelin for throwing, Assyrian-Achaemenid period. Attractive javelin with rounded shoulders and a defined central midrib. The socket about two thirds of the total lenght of c. 17 cm.
Condition: Very fine. Beautiful reddish patina.

Antique, Ming Dynasty, (1644-1911), Chinese Blue and White porcelain bowl of rounded form, standing on a short foot, a white, rich glossy glaze with an area of thick overglaze along the rim and a light bluish shade irregularly dripping down in the interior below the lip. The exterior painted in vibrant tones of blue with three large Double Happiness symbols peonies among floral scrolls.
CONDITION: In good condition. It shows its age and uses. No cracks, repairs, or restorations...
Large Afghan ceramic charger, of hollow form, decorated with splashed green and brown lines crossing on a light beige background. The charger is typical of art style of the Bamiyan period during the Bactrian civilisation era. Diameter: 26.5 cm. Height: 8.9 cm. Small hairline, otherwise very good condition. A lovely and rare pottery bowl or bassin depicting domesticated cheetahs or leopards, Indus Valley, probably Nal culture, 3rd. millenium BC.
The vessel finely decorated overall with three felines with spotted furs, and chained to small symbolic trees. Larger trees as spacers and a band of Ibexes above. Concenthric decoration near the wide rim, all in brown on a beige ground.
