An antique Japanese 2 part Usubata in bronze featuring a Minogame (age old turtle) base. Mounted to the shell is a flanged cloud rendering with four terminating columns that undulates to a removable wide rim water receptacle. Artist signed at the base of the receptacle. Beautiful craftsmanship including the fine stimple work to the underside of the turtle.

In Japan, the turtle is a good luck animal symbolizing 10,000 years of long life...

Statue of a snarling deity sitting on a rounded triangular base. Bronze, with partly encrusted green and red patina. Indonesia, Borneo Island, Dayak Peoples. Height: 6 3/8" (16 cm). Very good condition. A rare piece. Note: the statue was acquired in Indonesia in 1974.

In Tang dynasty many sansai figures were received in tomb rooms and likewise many painted unglazed pottery figure what had been making from ancient times were received too. This figure is very excellent and with good condition. Considering that this figure is greeting with Chinese style, this person is supposed as a Sogdian delegate. Jacobean or Tudor style Cast Architectural Element of Saint George slaying the dragon there are various paint traces throughout we date this at least Victorian if not Jacobean period. The material is some kind of lime plaster that is yellowish and not the normal white plaster we are accustom to seeing . French frame with gilt-bronze mounts, ca. 1900. Rectangular and white-painted wood frame with carved reeding and applied gilt bronze mounts. Gilt-bronze laurel wreath and ribbon mounted to top. With glass, lining, and brocade-lined back and hinged support for vertical display. Tiny corner losses. Otherwise good condition.

Porcelain decorated with carved floral on the center, unglazed base. PERIOD : Yue ware 10th Century MEASUREMENTS: 12 cm width. CONDITION: no chips, cracks or hairlines and free from restoration.

Early 19th century Japanese sword iron tsuba with pierced decoration of water dragons contesting tama (Precious Gems). Strong early piece with numerous perforations, gilding, wear and patina consistent with age. Diameter 2.93 inches.

A very nice blue and white Chinese export porcelain plate in the Fitzhugh pattern. The central reserve is surrounded by a complimentary design in the four quadrants, all enclosed in a diapered border. The blue color is very intense and the porcelain body has a good, clear white color. The execution of the painted design suggests that the plate dates from the first quarter of the 19th century.

Origin: China, ca. 1810. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 8-5/16” diameter.

Steatite oil lamp, finely carved to represent a standing bird. Indus Civilisation period, 2500 to 1500 B.C. Height: 13 cm. Old accident at the tail, soil encrustation, otherwise very good condition.

This is a 19th century sterling silver sugar caster made by Shreve Crump & Low Co. highly regarded and well known silver smiths. The height of the caster is 5” and the diameter at the widest is 3”. The caster is fully hallmarked and also engraved on the bottom with three initials and a date 7.29.1894.
