A extremely rare Southern Song ( 1127 – 1279 ) Guan ware, Guanyao washer. The well potted body in a very nice shape covered with a grayish-sea-green glaze with a highly attractive crackle. The light grey ware burnt brown in the firing. Guan´, the official ware of the southern Song court, is perhaps the most admired and desirable of all Chinese ceramics. Antique Chinese beautiful gauze brocade dragon robe, made of dark blue silk with a very fine open weave probably for summer wear, embroidered in gilt-wrapped thread with five-clawed dragons, clouds, tall lishui border and auspicious symbols, collar and sleeves woven of black silk gauze with gilt-wrapped thread brocade, wonderful condition. late Qing - early Republic Period. Antique Chinese charming cloissone sheep with large curling horns, made of copper repousse, cloisonne with stylized birds and scrolling vines all over the body of the sheep, beautiful colors on a black ground, late 19th century. Size: 11" high x 16" long x 6" deep.

A coin silver cigar band with a primitive, stamped, coin-silver button ring, circa 1890-1900. Similar examples of this button can be found in, "Indian Silver Jewelery of the Southwest 1868-1930," by Larry Frank. Page 66, item 68 shows a very similar set of six stamped buttons with a high domed centers circa 1890s, found at Hopi in 1911.

A letter open done in mixed metal with motif of cranes, chrysanthemums, magnolia-like flowers, and other flowering plants. The letter opener contains a signature that is difficult to read. Age: Meiji Period. Size: Length 13" Width 1.5"

Japanese food container, at times known as a jikiro, where food items are placed inside the container. In tea ceremony, the object is used to place sweets inside. The object is done in black lacquer with makie decorated with a motif of a peony. Inside the container is decorated with gold in the style known as Nashiji, or pear skin. Age: 20th century. This is japanese Indigo dye shibori cotton kimono textile of the Meiji era(1868-1910). It has a few thin stains. However, it does not have damage.It is made of hand-spun natural indigo dyed cotton. The part in front of the sleeve has sewing together. size:Length 138cm (54.3") sleeve to sleeve 121cm (47.6")

A large very decorative porcelain jar resp. flower-pot, decorated with a moulded decoration of 2 dragons and glazed with a very nice blue-green Celadon glaze. It seems that this jar was produced as a flower-pot because there is a hole to the bottom of the jar from the time when the jar was produced and it seems that this hole was closed later, most probably already a long time ago. Eighteenth to nineteenth centuries. H : 26,4 cm. Diameter : 23,2 cm. Condition : Perfect.

The remains of a very important, most beautiful Qingbai glazed Shrine. Southern Song Dynasty ( 1127 - 1279 ). ( Yingqing ). This despite it´s condition still absolutely beautiful piece belonged to the former personal collection of the old Hj. Syamsuddin, the well known former Antiques-shop owner from Bali and Makassar. Beautiful large antique Japanese ranma (transom), highly carved with pair of birds in flight and gnarled pine tree. Central carving wood is Keyaki (Elm), framing Hinoki (Japanese Cypress). Period: Meiji/Taisho. Early 20th Century. Size: 87.5" length x 18.5" width x 1.5" thick.

This vase is of a fine, stately hexagonal shape, molded with archaic kuilong designs reminiscent of ancient Chinese bronze work. The celadon glaze is delicate in its greenish-blue shade, and quite thick. The paste is also quite good for 19th century.

A thinly potted bowl with a carved decoration and glazed with an nice pale blue Qingbai glaze. Northern Song Dynasty ( 1127 - 1279 ) This rare bowl comes from the same old German collection like the bowl listed earlier here ( item # 1172349, Stock # 468 ) and like on the base of the other bowl also on the base of this bowl there is an old Chinese inscription to the unglazed base. Diameter : 17,1 cm. H : 5,5 cm. Condition : Perfect,with a nice "ping" tone when tapped.

A Sevres porcelain cup and saucer from the Second Empire (1852-1870) painted with flower garlands with a gilt scallop border and monogrammed with what appear to be the initials A.D. Diameter of saucer is approximately 4 ½ inches (10.2cm) and height of cup approximately 2 ½ inches (5.1cm).

Condition: Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.

Delicately painted rose garlands and the high quality porcelain create a pleasingly pretty set.

Unusual 15K gold memorial ring depicting an urn in hair paint, surrounded by alternating rose diamonds and amethysts. The enameled band reads "John Jenkins died 20 Feb 1780". The back of the ring is engraved "In loving one sincerely there is great merit".
