Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this interesting example of an ancient Greek bronze arrowhead. This arrowhead was manufactured by one of the Greek states ca. 600 - 200 B.C. This arrowhead is of the trilobite type and remains intact with lovely patina. The blade measures 27mm in length. Ca. 600 - 200 B.C. Ex-McInnis collection.

Relics of the Nile is pleased to present this detailed ancient Greek bronze coin. The coin features the a choice patina with the head of an emperor on the obverse. The reverse of the coin features a standing figure flanked with Greek text on either side. This is a lovely example that measures 3/4" in diameter. Ex-McInnis Collection.

Ca. 200 - 300

Carved from gray schist and retaining most of the neck, this head appears to have once been part of a larger relief carving. The back of the head was probably attached to a larger stone background and was later chiseled off. The hair is wavy and the lips are bow shaped. There are no apparent cracks or repairs to the stone, but the lower left ear shows some small loss. Acquired in 1980 from the estate of a history professor who who traveled extensively and collected antiques...

A rare and delicate QING Dynasty Silver and Paktong Opium Pipe with beautifully detailed metalwork, which because of its size probably belonged to a Lady. Rich patina jizaikagi hearth fish from the Taisho Period C.1920. The pot stabalizers had an iron rod through the fish that went up into a long bamboo pole that had an iron hook on the bottom to hold the iron pot over the hearth fire in old japanese farm houses. A late MING blue & white SWATOW ware decorated with a phoenix in cavetto and a border with auspicious symbols. The back side also has some painted decor. It has a thick, shiny glaze and also shows some unglazed spots. This is a very fine and attractive Mt Fuji wireless cloisonne box. It actually looks very similar to a Mt Fuji Sosuke tray we once had. It is not signed butthe artist is most likely Ando or Gonda. The Box measures 5 1/4 by 4 inches and s 2 3/8 inches tall. The box is beautiful and perfect except for some odd tool marks on the inner rim of the lid.
