Small octagonal hard porcelain vase. Decor enamelled with a landscape fenced with hedges of dry branches, there are a prunus, a pine and on the ground young bamboo shoots which would signify the symbolic presence of the "three friends", on the collar is represented a Ho-ho (phoenix) which in Japan symbolizes the Empress. Some details are gold. The style is kakiemon but this small vase is atypical. It is difficult to date and also to locate with precision...
3 Perfectly matching octogonal blue and white Chinese KANGXI or YONGZHENG Period wine or liquor cups. Early 18th Century. All 3 have a central medallion with an open lotus flower and scroll. The outside is equally decorated with delicately hand painted lotus scroll work and flowers. The rims have a nice diaper border. Condition: very good, no chips, hairlines nor restorations. Size: 2 3/4" ( 7cm.) diameter x H. 1 3/4" (4.5 cm.). Very rare to find 3 matching pieces!
A large porcelain barbed bowl decorated with flowers, birds, fingered citrons, bamboo and other motifs with famille rose enamel and gilt in Imary style. 18th century, Kangxi period. Condition: glaze scratches, enamel and gilt losings; rim glaze bursts as commonly seen on Kangxi wares, plus a few small glaze chips on the rim and one very short kiln crack. Two Famille noire biscuit sweetmeat dishes, Kangxi (1662-1722) of "arrow" formed, painted in the middle on a black ground a bird. The skirting band on the rim painted in green and black. The sides with aubergine glazed symbols. The yellow and green enamels has a "oil" surface and the black has a overlying green glaze. Condition: One in perfect condition. One is restored from several parts (see pictures)...
An attractive pair of porcelain joss stick holders, enamelled 'on biscuit', depicting two 'buddhistic' guardian lions. These items were made, circa 1800, during the reign of the Jiaqing emperor (1796 - 1820) for export and for the domestic market. One has a small piece of decoration missing above the right ear and has enamel loss to the right eye brow. No further damages and no restoration...

Rare antique early 18th century exceptional large Polish flintlock saddle holster pistol.
It features a very long two-stage barrel with a tapered iron barrel.
The flattened rib of the barrel is bordered by cut, narrow grooves and is hand-signed at the top with the word "DANTZIG." The breech section of the pistol is finely hand-chiseled in low relief with a portrait bust on the plinth surrounded by laurel leaf branches and scrolls.

Ni-Mai do complete armour, (tosei gussoku), the helmet (kabuto) of the hoshi suji bachi type (visible rivets) with 62 lames. Signed inside the bowl but illegible. Tehen in gilded and chiseled copper. 18th to early 19th century iron Japanese sword tsuba inlaid with branches of maple tree with leaves turning yellow and red, roots and cresting waves below, design continuing on the back . Wonderful work with brass and copper inlays, precise detailing and well captured mood of contemplation and autumnal melancholy. The plate has a dark brown patina, overall in great condition. 18th century or earlier iron sukashi Japanese sword tsuba with pierced decoration of bamboo and plum flowers. They represent two out of the Three Friends of Winter (pine, bamboo and plum) celebrated for the fact that they do not wither as the cold days deepen into the winter season unlike many other plants.
