16th Century Chinese Gilt Lacquer Bronze Buddha on Lotus Seat

It is 13 inches (33 cm) tall by 8 inches (20.3 cm) wide. It weights 6.5 lb.

It has peeling of lacquer, loss of gold, chip at one finger, manufacturer defect of firing holes and cracks, chip at the tip of her tassel, the lotus and base's edge, and one of the foot at the stand was repaired (as seen in the photos).

A good Ming 15th century blue and white mandarin ducks ewer, the ewer is decorated in form of mandarin ducks and detailed in good under glaze blue motif, original cover. Ewer is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, very rare with original cover.
Size: 12.5 cm from head to tail, and 10 cm height.

The exterior of the deep rounded sides carved with a band of petals rising from the foot to the flat everted rim, and the interior decorated in the center with two molded fish, covered overall with a glaze of guan type sea-green tone except for the foot rim burnt reddish-brown in the firing 21.7 cm diam. Minor restoration to the hairline on the rim, no chips or other damages.

A quite large Guan-glazed Longquan ware deep dish with a beautifully crackled blue-green Celadon glaze. Southern Song Dynasty ( 1127 - 1279 ) Longquan ware. Diameter : 21,4 cm. H : 5,4 cm. Condition : Perfect, the glaze a little bit degraded.

Two rare porcelain lids with moulded decoration and glazed with a pale blue-green Qingbai glaze. Yuan Dynasty, fourteenth century. These 2 lids, excavated in Indonesia, do have a Diameter of 6,8 cm. They perfectly would fit for 2 Qingbai glazed Yuan jarlets with a moulded deoration, and with a mouth rim diameter between minimal 5,2 cm. and maximal 6,2 cm. The perfect match ("marriage") would be with jarlets with a mouth rim diameter of 5,8 cm. Condition: Perfect.

A very rare sample of Yuan dynasty blue and white anhua dragon large stem cup, rounded side with out turned rim and high foot, stem cup decorated with under glaze of large single dragon at exterior, inner rim with classic scroll and inner wall with anhua dragon motif beneath white glaze, stem cup excavated from Trowulan east java.

An interesting Cambodian cast bronze statuette representing the Hindu god Vishnu standing with his 4 arms. The bronze bears an excellent original patina which confirms the dating, 12th century Khmer art.Typical clothing and jewelry. The Asian Art Museum houses a superb similar statue, a photo of which is attached. A wooden plinth was made around 1900 to stabilize the statue. Height without the wooden base: 115 mm (4.5 inches).
