An porcelanous stoneware dish with an well balanced shape. The very nice incised "Lotus decoration" covered with a nice Celadon glaze. Five Dynasties, Yue ware, Yue Yao. Diameter : 14,1 cm. Condition : Perfect. Nice glaze and a very nice, high "ping" tone when tapped. ( This what at one of the images looks like a chip seems to be covered by the original glaze )

well preserved, with a very good green and blue patina. Cambodia, 12th/13th century. H. 14 cm (the figure). Size including stand 22 cm.

Exquisite pierced sterling silver bride’s basket vase by Frank W. Smith. The basket flares out from a narrow base decorated with scrolling acanthus leaves. The sides are decorated with an intricate pierced motif and the upper border repeats the decoration at the foot. The handles is pierced and heavily decorated with scrolls and foliate designs that elaborate on the simpler foot and lip rims. The basket retains its original silverplate liner...

Highly unusual statue of protecting deity or ancestor, its head surmounted by a circular crown which looks like a "stupa" or a "usnisa". The protector is squatting, its hands are in praying posture. Eroded wood. West Nepal. Height: 36" (41 cm). Obvious signs of great age.

Edwardian stoneware match strike with sterling silver collar. Made by Royal Doulton in Lambeth in 1909. Globular with cylindrical interior and silver collar. Applied ornaments include windmill, pipe-smoking peasant, and running dogs. Shaded brown and cream glaze. A homely piece in the Dutch style. Fully marked on underside and collar. Excellent condition.

This jade carving depicts two dragons, seated back to back and is, as best I can tell, the real deal. Not only are there no signs whatsoever of modern tooling, but each of the holes at the snout has been drilled from both sides, using a conical bit. The jade itself does not lie 100% flat, which would be another "telltale" of modern production. Instead, it is slightly curved...

A large and massive thinbutted Danish neolithic offeraxe, dating to Time of the Great Burial Mounts, c. 3500-3000 BC.

An unpolished axe, made with defined seams on the edges. Well proportioned design and attractive, very broad. In Greyish brown Danien flint.

The thinbutted axes were introduced along with the transition from hunting and gathering to agriculture. The axes were used to clear the woods and prepare the ground for crops...

This porcelain tea cup, saucer and plate were produced in England by Spode Copeland in the late 19th century. The plate measures 5 5/8 inches square, the saucer measures 4 3/4 inches square and the cup is 2 5/8 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The set is interesting in that it is square in shape. It is decorated with cobalt blue borders that have raised enamel beading...

Dutch 18th Century Script Plate 9”

This porcelain trinket box was produced in Germany by Meissen around 1900. It has a diameter of 3 inches and is 1 ¾ inches high. It is made of the finest porcelain with a high gloss glaze. It is hand painted in Art Nouveau style with a bunch of pink roses and foliage. There is gold trim around the rims of both pieces. Condition: Excellent, first quality

Chinese silver box, decorated with dragon and phoenix design in high relief and a jade stone mounted between them, a band of floral design in relief surrounding the base, late 19th/ early 20th century period. Size; Length of silver box is 3 inches with height of 1.75 inches. Condition Report; Good condition.

This marvelous piece of ancient pottery is an offering vessel, sometimes referred to as a "spirit jar", from roughly the Five Dynasties period (907-960 AD) of Classic Imperial China. Song Dynastie ( 12th - 13th century ) stoneware Temmoku with a nice hares fur glaze ! Bowls like this were produced at the Jian kilns in Fujian province and at kilns in Henan province. Very nice condition . Diameter : 12 cm. H : 6,7 cm.

Antique Miao comb made of wood and silver. Flowers, birds and dragons designs. The ring on top was used to secure the comb in the hair, with a chain by instance.
