Japanese antique water pump, with iron hardware and inscription carved below the handle. Meiji age (1868-1912) Size: 38.5" length, 4" width

Chinese Blackwood and Natural mottled gray Marble top Round Stool/table, later part of 1800's, 18" high, 13" diameter on top, with carved side apron and curved legs are connected with stretchers on the lower part of the legs. Some wood joints are separated from the dryness over the years, no nails were used. This is heavy and solid piece of furniture.

Perfectly potted and brightly enamelled with a lovely scene of a bird sitting on a blossoming tree brunch. Famille-Verte, Kangxi Period ( 1662 - 1722 ) with a underglaze blue Kangxi Period Mark. Diameter : 16 cm. Condition : Perfect.

A six sided Japanese porcelain Imari dish with a blue and green dragon design on the front, and a blue and white bat design on the back. The plate measures about 10 1/2" in diameter x 2" high, and dates to the early 19th Century. There is a makers' mark on the foot. A hawk rests on an elaborate perch, the feathers fluffed up, each uniquely carved on this rare okimono from the Mushiake kilns of Okayama prefecture. It comes in an ancient kiri-wood box. The notation on the side of the box states it was received in late Meiji 27 (1894) from the former Head of the Okayama fief Ikeda Mochimasa. The name of the recipient has been redacted, as is often the case when things change hands in Japan. It is 24 x 7.4 x 29 cm (9 x 3 x 11-1/2 inches)...

Antique Japanese two section futon tansu. The upper section has double sliding burl wood panel doors which house a roomy storage interior. The bottom section is comprised of six burl front drawers with decorative cloud design locks.

Antique Japanese gracefully curling tall lotus leaf. Made to be part of a Buddhist altar arrangement. The lotus represents enlightenment blooming from out of the mud. Carved of wood and lacquered gold. Fitted with a custom metal stand.

This glass bowl and under plate was produced in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic, by the Moser Glass Studio in the 1880s. The under plate measures 7 inches in diameter. The bowl is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches high. It is made of hand blown ruby colored glass with leaded content. The shape and design has an Islamic feel. Vines of clematis are painted with raised enamel you can feel. Borders of white with tiny blue enamel beads accent the borders...

Chinese glazed, green porcelain water dropper, in a zoomorphic form resembling a canine, with finely etched "hairs" along its body. It is baring its teeth and has three holes, two in its mouth (one plugged, the other open for the flow of water) and one in its back to be filled with water. Archaic bronze lidded ritual food vessel on three legs (Ding). The body is round in form and divided into banded areas of detailed interlocking cloud and thunder motif. The band closest to the rim curves inward before flanging out again. There are two animal headed looped handles cast on either side. The three feet are squat and curved with cast details like those on the handles. The lid is similarly divided into banded areas to match the body...

Shino pottery is produced in today's Gifu prefecture since 16th century and it is distinguished by thick white glazes, red marks and the surface of small holes.

Extremely fine specimen of the earliest metal daggers known, BMAC / Indus, Chalcolithic period, 4th.-3rd. millenium BC.

Interesting and collectable daggers. Flat, leafshaped blade and very long, straight tang.

Condition: Extremely fine, choice green patina and great metal. Uncleaned with earthern deposits.
